Direct admission without GATE for IIT graduates with a minimum CGPA of 8.00 on a 10 point scale; Golden Girl Scheme for female Gold Medalists from an IIT and/or Institute/University within the Top 50 ranks (overall category) in the NIRF in the most recent year; IIT graduates with a BS degree who have qualified JEE (Advanced) and secured a CGPA > 8 are exempted from the GATE requirement; Candidates having AMIE/AMIS/AMIIChE/AMIIM/Grad IETE, who possess B.Sc. or Diploma in engineering and have at least three years research, teaching or other professional experience are also eligible.
