IIT BHU Cutoff 2025: Check JEE Advanced Round Wise Cutoff Ranks

For the SC category students under the AI quota, the JEE Advanced cutoff ranks varied between 283 and 2261 for core branches, including CSE, Civil, Chemical, etc. For the core branches, mostly the cutoffs are on the higher side for admission. Candidates seeking admission to core branches must target securing a cutoff rank of up to 2000 to improve their chances of admission at IIT BHU. For the General AI quota, the JEE Advanced cutoff 2025 for B.Tech admission ranges is 792 and 10727 in the final round. Considering the cutoff range, it is evident that the EWS category had competitive cutoff ranks for admission as compared to the General category students. IIT Varanasi accepts JEE Advanced scores to allow admission to BTech, BArch and other courses, . Recently. IIT Varanasi Cutoff 2025 for the Round 1 seat allotment results has been released by the institute, based on candidates' performance in JEE Advanced. As per the Round 1 cutoff data, the closing cutoff for various courses ranged between 1838 and 19019. The toughest course out of all was BTech in Computer Science and Engineering, with the last-round closing rank of 1838, for the General AI category candidates. IIT Varanasi JAM Cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 2. The most competitive course was M.Sc in Chemistry, with the Cutoff of 387, for the General AI category candidates. For the OBC AI category candidates, the Cutoff for M.Sc in Chemistry was 663. 

If not eligible for IIT Varanasi, candidates can opt for IIT Gandhinagar with a linient cutoff of 404, for M.Sc in Chemistry, for the General AI category candidates. 

IIT BHU offers MSc courses based on IIT JAM scores. Candidates having valid IIT JAM ranks will be allowed to take part in counselling rounds. Considering the IIT BHU JAM cutoff 2025 for the Round 4 seat allotment results, the closing rank ranged between 325 and 409 for the General AI category candidates. To get a seat in IIT Varanasi for M.Sc courses, the student must attain a qualified rank in IIT JAM. As per the IIT Varanasi JAM Cutoff 2024, the Cutoff was released for MSc in Physics and MSc in Chemistry. The last round closing Cutoff rank for MSc in Physics for the General AI category closed at 422. For admission into MSc in Physics, for the General AI category, the last-round closing cutoff closed at 387. 

For the OBC AI category candiates, the cutoff to secure a seat in MSc in Physics was 641, during the last round cutoff. For MSc in Chemistry, the Cutoff for the OBC AI category stood at 673. 

IIT BHU has officially released the Round 1 cutoff ranks for MSc admissions through IIT JAM 2025, and the figures show a steady year-on-year change in the Chemistry program. The closing rank for General (All India) category candidates in MSc Chemistry was 453 in 2023, followed by a slightly lower cutoff of 387 in 2024. Now, considering the IIT BHU cutoff 2025, the MSc in chemistry cutoff stood at 308 for the General AI category candidates. This means that candidates with a JAM 2025 rank up to 308 were offered seats in the first round for MSc Chemistry at IIT BHU. But, candidates can wait for the next round to come; it may decrease in the upcoming rounds.
