Candidates must note that the decreasing trend implies an increased level of competition. On the contrary, an increasing trend implies lesser competitive ranks.
IIT BHU BTech Cut off Trend: Declining
The BTech specialisations including Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering and Electronics and Communication have exhibited a deteriorating cut off trend over the past three years in the last closing round. According to the analysis, in 2021, the cutoffs have declined in the range of 100-200 ranks for these BTech specialisations in comparison to 2020 cutoffs. Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is unlimited with decent speed, and it is everywhere like library, classrooms, labs, hostel and workshops. Mess food is the best among all IITs. Sports are pretty good. The largest sports...
Placements: CSE branch in IIT BHU has 100% placements with an average salary package of about 25 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 1.5 crores per annum for foreign and about 65 LPA in case of domestic. Companies that recruit include almost all reputed software companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Sprinkler, Uber, and a whole lot. In the case of internships, around 60% of the students get on-campus intern and many got off-campus internships.
Infrastructure: The main building of CSE and MNC is nearby and it is just good in terms of infrastructure. Although labs are air-conditioned and have high-speed Wi-Fi, and the building is somewhat old. But it's quite satisfactory. The library is very good and has a peaceful environment and is air-conditioned, and has Wi-Fi connectivity. Almost all the books required during college are there in the library. The highest packeg is 1.5 crores grabbed by only one student in 2019. the lowest is around 10 Lacs and average package is around 20-22 Lacs.
