IIT BHU Cutoff 2024 For OBC All India Category
IIT BHU OBC category cutoff 2024 was released for BTech and Integrated BTech courses across multiple specialisations. Among BTech, CSE was the most desirable specialisation with first and last round closing ranks of 442 and 524, respectively. Among the Integrated courses, the toughest one to get admission at IIT BHU was Integrated B.Tech. + M.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering. The first and last round closing ranks for the same stood at 727. For the rest of the courses, refer to the table below:
IIT Varanasi Cutoff 2024 was concluded for admission to various BTech/Integrated BTech/BArch courses. The Cutoff was released for different categories under the AI quota. For the General AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks for different BTech and other courses ranged between 1071 and 22390. Among the OBC AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks across multiple specialisations closed at a range of 524 and 8177.

According to the IIT BHU cutoff 2023, the closing ranks were 3358 and 3534, for the General AI category as per the first and last rounds. Therefore, going by the 2023 cutoff pattern, IIT BHU BTech cutoff 2024, which is to be expected, could be in the range between 3000 and 3500.

IIT BHU Cutoff 2024 For ST All India Category
Among the ST category students, the JEE Advanced first-round cutoff ranged between 153 and 1449. During the last round, the closing ranks varied between 163 and 1515. Considering both rounds, CSE turned out to be the most desirable course for admission in 2024. Besides CSE, another BTech specialisation with a competitive cutoff rank of 279 was Integrated B.Tech. + M.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering. Compared to the JEE Advanced cutoff ranks with the above categories, the competition was comparatively tough for the students belonging to the ST category in the AI quota. IIT BHU BTech cutoff 2024 was released as opening and closing ranks. Among all the BTech specialisations, CSE was the most demanded one for admission in 2024. The first and last round closing ranks for CSE stood at 177 and 187, respectively. Candidates who want to get admission at IIT BHU irrespective of any course choice can also consider less competitive courses such as Integrated BTech + MTech in Computer Science Engineering with a JEE Advanced last-round cutoff of 247 and Integrated BTech + MTech in Mathematics and Computing with a closing rank of 346. IIT BHU Cutoff 2024 For PWD All India Category
IIT Varanasi has released the category-wise cutoffs for various BTech specialisations. For BTech admissions, JEE Advanced is conducted widely by IITs. A JEE Advanced rank of 3000 under OBC category can be considered as the decent rank, however, this rank is insufficient to secure BTech in CSE programme in 2024. Other than CSE, the top courses for which candidates have the option to get a seat at IIT BHU are Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mining Engineering and Ceramic Engineering.
For the PWD category candidates, the JEE Advanced last-round closing ranks ranged between 40 and 163, of which CSE has the lowest cutoff rank. The first-round cutoff for CSE was 39. For admission to Integrated B.Tech. + M.Tech. in Mathematics and Computing course, the first and last-round closing rank was 121. For BTech in Electronics Engineering, the first and last-round cutoff stood at 163.
