Placements and infrastructure are good.
Placements: Most of the students got placed in good companies. The average salary package offered is above 8 LPA. Top roles are offered at R&D, software developer and data analyst. A high percentage of students get their dream jobs. Every course has various companies to hire students. A variety of jobs are offered from software to business.
Infrastructure: All basic amenities are available such as Wi-Fi, good collection of books at the library, etc. A lot of extracurricular activities, such as fests and sports, are held. The hostel is quite decent and is provided with all the required amenities like a gym, and the mess and canteen provide hygienic and tasty foods.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and have great knowledge about the subject. The course curriculum is as per the latest requirements of the industry, and students are industry-ready by the end of their engineering. The college has many courses to help students get into various streams of work.

A decent college for CS and ECE, overall in top 10 in Bangalore.
Placements: The placements are actually very good considering the location of the college. All the eligible students were placed mostly in IT companies while a few core companies like TI and Sankalp semiconductor hired students from our campus. The highest stipend were offered by amazon while accenture and infosys hired majority of the students. The internship opportunities were provided by college to every student. Companies like Canada technologies, VI solutions provided internship to students from the EC department. Students were also allowed to look for opportunities from outside while they were required to take prior permission from HOD. There is off course a placement cell in college solely devoted to the Bachelor of Engineering students. They work day in and out to make sure that all the students are offered a job position. However it all depends on the students to achieve their dream job. The minimum c. g. p. a. for a sure job opportunity SAT above 6.0 while I would urge you all to score on the plus side of 6.5 to remain on the safer side. Apart from this recruit training is also provided to every student in their 6th semester.
Infrastructure: The Infrastructure is decent. It has about 5-6 buildings for different branches with well lit classes and spacious rooms. The labs are well equipped with good technology. We have a gym room, basketball court, big lawn, football ground. The Library is pretty huge with almost all books.
Faculty: The faculty are very helpful. There are good teaching staff members in the CSE and ECE departments. However, some good teachers are also available for the rest of the branches. But a few teachers are stubborn and vent their personal emotions on us. But 70%-80% of teachers are simply awesome and treat us like friends. They want us to understand the topics and work hard.
Other: Various events and fests organized at regular intervals. There is very good connectivity as the college has its own bus service with 8 operating routes. The campus is situated just on the outskirts of the city. Various extracurricular activities are organised in the college. There are many cultural and technical clubs in the college.

Moderate college because of faculty and placement.
Placements: Got placed in INFOSYS from college. However, very limited choice was there during our placement time. Accenture didn't come. No companies came for Mechanical branch students. Few of my friends are still unplaced from mechanical engineering background. Almost 70-75% people got placed during my time but college shows 100% placement to new students.
Infrastructure: Decent infrastructure. Same design of building throughout the campus. Hostel infrastructure should be enhanced. However, college campus is too spacious. But now they are utilising all the available land for building up new PU and Nursery colleges. Food in canteen is fine. But food in hostel is aweful. I didn't have food there after one year.
Faculty: Faculty is supporting. Some teachers are partly partial to their regional students which is not fare. They are not bothered even if someone idls having a back, faculty won't help student to study. It is only self study that made us pass VTU exam. If teacher is not in good terms with you, they will purposefully fail you in LAB and internal exams.

Good infrastructure and campus with nice road.
Placements: The placements are very good. We get top reputed companies like TCS, Accenture and other MNCs. Work hard, get placed & enjoy rest of your life like a boss. There is a lot of the scope for many more companies to come and select the students, and can improve the annual package also.
Infrastructure: The college has huge buildings and labs. All the facilities are available. There is a huge ground to conduct fests & events. Big auditorium & the parking is large. The college has no trees, so vehicles heat up unnecessarily. Wide roads & strict security. Entry inside the campus is allowed only with ID card & helmet.
Faculty: The teachers are highly educated & trained to teach well. 80% of the teachers are picked up from Murdeshwara as well all know RNS took origin from there. There are about 60 students to 2 teachers (class teacher & mentor). The teaching is good but can improve more.
Other: The college has superb fests & canteens. Accessing the main roads, shops & bus stops is easy.

RNSIT college reveiw for the students joining engineering for the academic year 2018-2019.
Placements: There is a wide opportunity for the placements in our college, provided we have the required aggregate. The previous year, placements were up to 96%. Our college also gives room for the sports and cultural events. Many companies open door for the placements in our college, but not for the pool campus. An aggregate percentage and no active backlogs are the main criteria for getting placed. It's a better college compared any other VTU colleges in Bangalore. It is also one of the top most colleges in VTU.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure and facilities for the students. There is a big parking lot here. Also, the college canteen here gives a good and tasty food at reasonable rates. There is also a Maggi station for some snacks. Washrooms are also present on every floor. Each department also has a separate block.
Faculty: Every engineering department has a very well-experienced faculty team headed by the excellent HODs. The Principal here is the best at his work. The faculty here are well-educated and knowledgeable with a good experience in teaching, which makes students gain interest in the subject.
Other: Pantheon and Parichay are the names of our college fests which take place every alternate year. The departmental fests are also held according to every semester.

Loving each and every moment at RNSIT
Placements: The best placements with an overall of 98-99% of the students being placed from all the streams. The training for placements is conducted in the college with one of the best training institutes. FACE and 7 Th sense training institutes are linked with the college to provide the required training. Nearly 500+ companies visit the college for placements.
Infrastructure: Amazing campus with well-built infrastructure. It contains a library full of books, and Wi-Fi facility is provided. There are secured boys and girls hostels and a big playground. The toilets are decent, and the roads are well built with speed breakers to avoid speeding by the students. There is a temple in the college to give positive vibes to students.
Faculty: The faculty members are well-trained and very knowledgeable. They provide excellent coaching to the students and are very friendly. The faculty are very open to the students in clearing all the doubts. Also, the lab instructors and helpers are very kind. No second word about teaching at the RNSIT.
Other: Cultural and technical fests are conducted twice a year.

College stands good if your are more towards building your future.
Placements: I've seen their tremendous efforts to bring out companies to us. They conduct workshops which are very useful. In 2017, they had 90% of placements, and this year, many companies have been on our campus. Many core companies are yet to visit. Overall, placements are good if you maintain your grades.
Infrastructure: It is huge campus which is widely spread. There are no worries about parking, water facility etc. The good canteen at cheap rates is available. Regarding security, they have installed CCTV. There is a friendly environment, and proper bus facility and much more are provided. The buildings here are uniform and looks neat.
Faculty: The faculty members show interest only towards studies. If at all you need extracurricular activities, it is your interest. Talking about projects, this institute shows more interest, and even the staff help us in the projects. EIE department conduct evolution programs based on IEEE and many expos have been conducted. Events are of more fun but not up to the expectation.

Everything is fine and good. You are lucky if you get this college, make it as best as you can.
Placements: The placements are very good also the faculty members. It has around 50 companies visiting the college and has established a good understanding with top mass recruiter companies like Infosys, Wipro and Accenture. Most students get placed, usually in IT companies and also some MNCs like Microsoft make a visit to the college. The average payout is around 4 LPA and highest depends. Placements are getting better and better each year.
Infrastructure: It may not have the best infrastructure when compared to other engineering colleges but it has all the academic facilities that are necessary like a library, good classrooms, well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi etc... But when it comes to the sports it fails to impress the students who are sportspersons. The college canteen is good, with healthy and tasty food. The hostel is quite good but the northeast students don't like the hostel food and it is a bit tolerable for others. In fact, the infrastructure doesn't matter when it comes to academics and placements.
Faculty: The teaching faculty team is fabulous. Teachers are well-experienced and friendly. They support students a lot in academics but the best thing is that they give notes which is very much required to score more marks in the exam. They employ methods of teaching like board teaching, using projectors, PPTs etc. It has sufficient teaching faculty members and also non-teaching staff members. They take students for industrial trips also.
Other: RNSIT is known for giving printed notes which make the student feel easy for the exams. The attendance is not so strict, supportive teachers, no strict rules, no ragging (in fact, seniors are friendly). The location is quite far from the centre of the city but still, BMTC facility is good. It takes directly to college(225c, 22cf, bc6, 378, 401rc, 401r), and the college also provides a bus facility. Overall, the college is fine and good.
