A blend of academic excellence, supportive faculty & vibrant campus life.
Placements: Companies like Zomato, Deloitte, Accenture, TCS, Wipro, Amazon, KPMG, PwC, and EY visit the campus. Common average packages are around 5 LPA, with top packages occasionally exceeding 20 LPA. For placements, students with 60% are eligible students to get placed. Botany students often orient towards higher studies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, and labs are fully equipped. Classrooms are good and library is also good. Hostel food is good and canteen food is hygienic. Entirely home like vibes can be felt in winters and you can enjoy the sunlight in the ground with friends. The New Science Block, with lift access, offers seminar halls and 16 well-lit and ventilated Science labs.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Lot of knowledge is given, exams are not too tough. They are moderate and almost everyone can pass them. Most faculty members hold PhDs and are known for being well-qualified and experienced. Many are from reputed institutions like JNU.
Other: Fests are definitely one of best things in college life, this year Astha Gill just made it more memorable.

Have a glance at Maitreyi College, University of Delhi
Placements: Only commerce course students get placed in my college. Even not all the students from commerce too can't get jobs . In my course, there is no placement. The highest package from commerce was 30 LPA . The percentage of getting placement is few, and they are also unpaid.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college is very good. Well , Wi-Fi, labs , classrooms . Library is too spacious and big . If I talk about the hostel fee , it's too high . The quality of food in the mess and canteen is average. Medical facilities are good , but they charge for even a sanitary pad .
Faculty: Not all the teachers are good by nature, but they are well qualified and knowledgeable. Partiality among students is here . Exam level is easy to moderate . Passing percentage is 75%. Obviously , we have to study. But you can't get a place directly after doing this course .
Other: If you want to achieve a broad knowledge about plants and algal world technology and all, this course is best . College schedule is too hectic. All the cultural events and activities are held so well . Freeship is also available.

It's average, infrastructure is very good, and facilities are also good, etc.
Placements: In my course, there were no placements as we come from a science background. However, many internships are available, although they are not paid. These internships help improve CVs and resumes by offering certificates. Only selected students are able to participate in these internships.
Infrastructure: There are proper classes held every day. The labs and classrooms are very good, and there are seminar halls and an amphitheater as well. The overall infrastructure is good, with Wi-Fi available. The canteen food is affordable, though the taste is average. Hostel fees are too high compared to the accommodation provided.
Faculty: Most of the faculty in our college and course is good, but a negative point is the partiality among students. The exams are of a normal level, mostly based on previous year questions, and about 90% of students pass. However, in internal assessments, marks are often given only to selected students.
Other: The course is quite hectic, with classes running until 5:30 PM. The regularity of classes is a positive aspect. Improvements could be made in the professors' behavior and teaching methods. All cultural activities and fests are conducted once a year, and they are full of fun.

I am satisfied with its faculty members and placements.
Placements: Around 5-6 students got placed in our course. The average salary package offered ranges between 5 LPA - 25 LPA. Placements are not conducted in our college till now. The top roles offered are botanist, forest officer, environmentalist, etc.
Infrastructure: Laboratory is well-equipped with instruments. The laboratory staff members are also qualified. Smart boards are available. Elevator is also provided on campus. The food served in the canteen is also good. Medical facilities are available. NCC and NSS societies are conducted for sports.

Q:   Is B Sc. at Maitreyi College better than Zakir Husain Delhi College?
A:

Zakir Husain Delhi College traces its origin to more than 300 years ago to a Madrasa. After many tumultuous events, the college as we see today was the final avatar.

ZHDC and MC, both have obtained grades of "A+" and are well known for good faculty and academics. Both colleges are in demand by students during the admission process. Frankly speaking there is nothing to differentiate between these two except that Maitreyi is women only while Zakir Husain is co-ed. Hence boys have no choice but to go to Zakir Husain while girls can opt out of the two.

In final analysis, one can say that both colleges are of equal calibre and a student can choose anyone without losing out on anything.

Best wishes to you.
