Absolutely satisfied because of good faculty members, infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: In my course, there is one batch that recently passed out in 2024. In that batch, more than 80% of them got placement offers. The highest salary package offered in my course ranges from 10 LPA - 12 LPA. The average salary package offered varies between 6 LPA - 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA - 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Sify Technologies, Infosys, Accenture, TCS, Prodapt, Cognizant, Tech Mahendra, LTIMindtree, MU Sigma, and many more. Top roles offered in my course are software development engineer, network engineer, junior software developer, etc.
Infrastructure: All the necessary infrastructures are provided in my college including Wi-Fi. All departments have separate labs, classrooms, and library that support research-oriented activities. Bus facilities are provided for all around Chennai city including Kanchipuram and Chengalpattu districts. Incubation support is also provided for good projects to develop their solution into products. In hostel, quality of food is very good. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food are provided every day except Thursday for dinner. Taste of the food is also very good. Facilities like canteens, sports courts, and medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: The teaching quality is very good. Professors are well knowledgeable persons about the curriculum. All teachers are qualified for their masters and most of them have completed PhD also. The course curriculum contains the necessary subjects that are useful for our jobs like OOPs, C programming, Python Programming, Computer Networks, Operation Systems, and many more. Obviously, the semester exams are conducted strictly. The pass percentage is above 50 marks which combines both internal and external marks. In internal, we have 40 marks and the semester exams are conducted with 100 marks which is converted to 60 marks.
Other: I am choosing my college in TNEA Counseling. The best thing about my course is that it gives priority to encourage students to develop their new innovative projects that help others and that should satisfy the SDG goals of the UNO. Also, take efforts to improve the students skills. In my college, many technical events are conducted and cultural is also conducted only one time after I joined. Many of the audio launches are happened here in Leo Muthu Stadium. So the students got the free tickets for that.

Overall, the placement and infrastructure are good.
Placements: The placement percentage is good. Around 350 students has been placed in this year. The top recruiting companies include Sifi Solutions, TCS, Wipro, etc. The top roles in this course are Network Engineer, Software developer, Web developer, App developer, etc. The average salary was around 5 to 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi connection is good and the laboratory and equipment are in usable condition. The computer labs have high-speed internet connectivity. The quality of the quality of the teaching depends on the faculty members; if the faculty has enough knowledge about the subject, they will teach well.
Faculty: The teaching is good. The teachers are friendly and we can contact them anytime. The semester exams are easy if we follow the syllabus. Some teachers are strict, but the rules have been moderate in this college. The course curriculum is relevant and it is a futuristic course that is a mix of hardware and software.

Good curriculum and best infrastructure.
Placements: 80% of the students were placed in our course. They also provide average salary package for students. Top recruiting companies are TCS, ZOHO, CTS, Infosys, Amazon, etc. 80% students got internship in our course. The top roles offered in our course are communication, etc. They also provide skill track, Ideathon and so many clubs and cells for students; they are really good and effective.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in our department are good. They provide Wi-Fi, and the lab, classroom, and library are clean and in good condition. The quality of food in our hostel is very good compared to other hostels. They also provide medical facilities to students when they are in need.
Faculty: The teachers were really helpful to students and they cleared their doubts at any time. They are really very kind and helpful to students. Semester exams are not very difficult. The pass percentage is around 95%. Our course provides curriculum-relevant ideas and knowledge to students. It makes the students get ready for the placement interview.
Other: I got this course through TNEA counselling. It also provides ideas and knowledge about industry-related and core-related activities. They also provide so many scholarships to students. The events and fests at our college are really good. There are also so many extracurricular activities that encourage students to work actively.

My Journey at Sri Sairam Institute of Technology Computer & Communication engineering department.
Placements: As a part of the 2025 Computer and Communication batch at Sri Sairam institute of technology, I gained a strong foundation in the theoretical and practical aspects of the field. The curriculum balanced coursework with hands-on labs, providing opportunities to learn and apply various technologies. Our seniors got placed in very decent and high paying companies for great role. Apart from the company internships our department students are also availed with abundance of opportunity to work with well reputed and core companies for various projects.
Infrastructure: The programme offered a strong foundation in core subjects like programming, network, and digital electronics. Beyond academics, the infrastructure truly enhanced the learning experience. The numerous well-equipped labs, each catering to specific fields like computer Science and electronics, allowed us to experiments and apply theoretical knowledge practically. The college canteen offered a diverse and delicious menu, catering to various dietary needs and preference. Nevertheless, The laboratory equipment are upgraded in certain required time and software could ensure students are exposed to the latest technologies.
Faculty: The curriculum in the computer and communication department at Sri sairam institute of Technology provides a strong foundation in essential theoretical and practical concepts. Core subjects like programming, communication network, and digital electronics were well covered. The faculty were undeniably one of the programmes the biggest strengths. Their profound knowledge of the subjects and the passion for teaching hone through in their lectures and interactions. The exams were generally well-structured and aligned with the taught curriculum.
Other: Compared to other private colleges offering similar programme, Sri sairam institute of technology had relatively lower tuition feels, making it attractive option for budget - conscious students. The college also offers a good range of scholarships and financial aid options, making the programme more accessible to students from diverse backgrounds. While the programme provided a solid foundation, incorporating more industry - specific projects or workshops could have increased it's practical value and career preparedness.

Very strict college for this generation.
Placements: Mostly all of the students get placement, either in technical or non-technical domain. The highest package goes upto 10 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. Top recruiters are Zoho, TCS, HCL, cts, infosys and etc. Mostly all of them are offered software developer role.
Infrastructure: Outer infrastructure is good but classrooms are not maintained properly. Washrooms are not very hygienic. Wi-Fi is not provided for student's use. Hostel is very strict and food is quite okay. Sports are not much encouraged in the college, especially for girls.
Faculty: Teachers do not always cover the entire syllabus and they also stick with the notes. We often use online exam resources to prepare for CAT exams and even semester exams also. However, semester examinations are not that difficult to clear. You can easily clear them with last day's preparation.
Other: No cultural activities and fests are organised. LMS scholarships are provided for village students.
