Placements: SSN College of Engineering is a top tier college in Tamil Nadu. Placements are quite good. In the previous year, a CSE student bagged an excellent salary package of 15 LPA. IT students get an average salary package ranging from 9 LPA-10 LPA. Other branches students also get good salary packages. Data scientist, competitive programmer and software developer are the top roles offered in our course.

Infrastructure: One of the best things about SSN is its infrastructure. Students who score more than 195 marks can easily get admission in AU, MIT and PSG. But students prefer SSN due to its infrastructure. There is a huge library with a Wi-Fi facility, and the library is a good place to gain adequate knowledge. I am a day scholar. But most of my hostel friends say that the food served in the hostel is above average. However, the hostel rooms and bathrooms are very good.

Faculty: Faculty members here are very knowledgeable. Most of them are doing research in their respective fields. Students gain a lot of knowledge from them, and most of them hold a PhD degree. They teach more life skills, and they help us a lot in research and internal funding projects.

Other: I am very keen and interested in learning computer-related things, so I have chosen B.Tech. I learn lots of new things every day, and I want to improve my coding skills. Instincts and Invente are two mega fests conducted here. Instincts is a non-technical event, and it is usually conducted in even years. Many students from all over Tamil Nadu visit here and participate in various cultural events. Invente is a technical event, and it is very informative.

There is the best infrastructure, and it is a good college which provides complete freedom.

Placements: Above 96% of the students from our department got placed, while others may prepare for higher studies and other exams. The highest salary package offered here ranges from 30 LPA-40 LPA for IT branch. Our college also has an M.Tech course. Companies like Goldman Sachs, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, etc., visit our college for placements. In the 3rd year only, many companies visit here to offer internships.

Infrastructure: Our college has the best infrastructure, and it looks very beautiful. There is a very peaceful environment, and good Wi-Fi facility is available around the campus. Our college has the best classrooms and nice hostel. If you want air-conditioning facilities, single room and attached bathrooms, they are also available. Our college has an air-conditioned library and high-speed internet facility. Lots of books are available there. There are no rules in the hostel for boys except for one rule that they are not allowed outside after 8:30 pm. For girls, I think they don't allow after 6:30 pm.

Faculty: SSN provides complete freedom, and if you are from the IT department, you can fully enjoy it here. SSN is not only best for providing freedom but also provides quality education. Now it is an autonomous college, and it has a research centre. It is the best place to gain knowledge regarding not only subjects because they focus more on other things like projects, collaboration, opensource contribution and others. But the only drawback is it is a private institution, so it is a little bit expensive.

Other: Yes, lots of fest happening here. In every month there will be at least one fest.

No, BTech in AIDS is not available to pursue in SSN College of Engineering generally no institute offers Btech in AIDS students who wants to pursue need to pursue B.Sc in AIDS at other colleges who offers this course. My 12th (TN board) cutoff is 121.25. Can I get a seat for B.Tech IT or CSE in SSN?

Hello Jayachandiran, Your cut-off is very low to get a seat at any of the course at SSN College of Engineering. To get admission at SSN, you need to have at least 190 and above because the competition is too high. So, you cannot get a seat for IT or CSE at SSN.
