The college is top-notch choice if you want a balance of everything in life.
Placements: 89 percent of students were placed. The highest on-campus package is 21 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are ZS and Infosys. 80 percent got internships. Top roles were SDE and analyst. There were well-recognized companies that visited our campus, and the placements were fine.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well maintained, with a few having AC. Hostels are top-notch with all facilities and no restrictions. Hostel staff is also very good. The hostels are well maintained. There are too many hostels, and students have the choice to choose according to their needs.
Faculty: Teachers are very good, with very helpful coordinating staff. The course is relevant as per the top market. Semester exams are very difficult. Teachers have subject knowledge, and they teach very well. They also assist in projects and help the students. They give balanced marks.
Other: The course is provided on the basis of rank, and I only got this according to my rank. A lot of events happen in a year, including a yearly annual fest named Goonj.

Absolutely satisfied because of the environment of the center of the city of Chandigarh.
Placements: My brother who passed out in 2023 said that all the eligible students got placed in 2023. The highest package last year off campus was around 20 LPA by American Express which took around 2-3 students. It is the top recruiting company off-campus. Here we have to grab internships on our own without the help of college which is one of the drawbacks of college.
Infrastructure: Everything is average as per a government college. The hostel food is not so good but average. There are 8 hostels for boys and 10 for girls. There is an international hostel. The facility in an international hostel is very good. The fee there is Rs. 10,000 per month where as in 8 boys and 10 girls hostels, it is Rs. 1,000 per month with decent or average facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and hill. The quality as per my first year is good. The curriculum is kind and relevant. Semester exams are easy to crack studying just 1-2 days before exams and getting a decent CGPA. The pass percentage is 5 cg I. e 40 marks.
Other: I just wanted to pursue engineering in low money. It is a great choice for low-money students. I just want the infrastructure to become better. Most events occur here as just now an event named Goonj.

Value for money, and good placement opportunity.
Placements: The placement scenario in our college is good. A lot of companies like KPMG, Deloitte, etc. visit our college, and we have a DIC lab that collaborates with Nottingham University in the UK and offers internship opportunities to bright minds. A lot of companies start visiting our campus even before the 8th sem. The faculty is supportive and would definitely help you secure internships and such.
Infrastructure: The campus of Panjab University is completely accessible to UIET students; hence, we have a swimming pool, playground, shooting range, and many other facilities to name a few. Our entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. We have two libraries: one is 24 hours, called AC Joshi, and the other is specifically for UIET, open during college hours. Classrooms are moderately good with AC classes for CSE and IT departments.
Faculty: A few of the faculty members are exceptional, and others not so much. Like most colleges, your academics depend on your efforts. We follow the same course as most other engineering colleges, which in recent times has become a bit outdated. Semester exams are moderately tough, but with adequate preparation, they can surely be passed.
Other: I chose this course because this was a government college that provided enough value for money. I wish the infrastructure and faculty would have been better. We are given ample scholarship opportunities and opportunities for extracurricular activities. Overall, I am quite happy with my decision to choose this college.

Overall, looking at one's rank and the college fee, the college is quite decent.
Placements: Placements in IT are really good. The highest package offered off campus was 42 LPA and on campus was 25 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Amazon, American Express, etc. Not many students get internships here and it's an average college overall.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite average. The rooms are not air conditioned, though IT CSE students get AC rooms from 2nd year. WiFi is really good but the library is not 24/7 in the college. Hostel is quite average. It's really hard to get a room in here and there are many rats and insects as well. The food is okayish and edible.
Faculty: The faculty here are really helpful and most of them here are PHD holders and some are pursuing their PhD as well. The curriculum here is outdated and you have to do some stuff on your own. The exams are decent but the pass percentage is kind of low in the first year.
Other: I compromised a bit on college to get into IT. If the syllabus had been a bit updated, then it would have been great. For extracurriculars, there are a lot of clubs, tech as well as non-tech, and all are really good as well.

Our college is good with average infrastructure and good placements.
Placements: Placements are good in our college. Many companies come to recruit students with an average salary package that is worth it. Students should have a minimum CGPA to sit for placements. Many companies like American Express, Infosys, etc., recruit students. Placements for mechanical and biotech courses are difficult. Students must have coding knowledge.
Infrastructure: Our university provides hostel facilities for students with good ranks in JEE. The infrastructure of our hostel is adjustable. The food served is good. Labs are good.
Faculty: Faculty members are the most significant in our college. Teachers are good, helpful, and highly educated. Exams conducted are 2 minors for 30 marks, 1 major for 50 marks, and the remaining marks are in lectures perspective.
Other: I chose this college because placements for the IT branch are good and it has a peaceful environment in Chandigarh. Events and fests are not so great but are manageable. The transport facility needs to be improved. The hostel fee is Rs.10,000 per year which is very less.

Honest review of quiet Chandigarh, Punjab University.
Placements: It's an average decent college in my opinion. About placements. I can't say cause I've not witnessed it yet but I've heard it's decent, at least for CSE and IT branches. In the end, it all depends on you, anyways. Other branches like ECE and biotech don't offer many jobs on campus.
Infrastructure: There's no campus life or infrastructure, to be honest. It's a government college so the hostel is. Yes you know right. Although it's fine and can be managed if you're a big of complaint and want to save expenses too. And yes, a hostel isn't provided to everyone.
Faculty: It's alright I mean the teachers are supportive if I am honest, it's a college they obviously won't spoon-feed you. The course curriculum is not relevant, it was updated YEARS ago and sometimes I feel like why am I even studying this subject like bro, carpentry workshop in IT branch.

Review of University Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: This year, the average salary package has increased to 9.5 LPA which is tremendous. There were 120 offers of more than 12 LPA which is again amazing. This college has grown in terms of placement tremendously in the previous year only and will grow further in the upcoming years.
Infrastructure: UIET does not have its own hostels. The students are given hostels of Panjab University only. Hostels are not so good but hostel life is amazing. Hostel fees is minimal, but only a few students get hostels. In my batch of 114 students, only 20-25 students got hostel.
Faculty: Exams are easy in UIET Chandigarh. It's clear that everything will come from the notes only. Some teachers are very good while others are okay. The passing percentage in UIET is 40%. It is said that it is very difficult to clear your backs so try not to get them.

If you are unable to get an NIT, you can go for this college.
Placements: Almost all the students are generally placed in the IT branch. The highest package offered is 30 LPA, the lowest package is 4 LPA, and the average package is 6.5 LPA. Companies like Deloitte, Infosys, Samsung, American Express, TCS, etc., recruit students. Roles like data analyst, web developer, software developer, etc., are offered.
Infrastructure: There are a total of 3 blocks in the college. The 1st block contains practical labs, the 2nd block contains all the classrooms, and the mechanical block has a number of workshops. Wi-Fi is available on the whole campus. The library has a large number of books for all branches.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified enough to teach all the relevant subjects to students so that the students can get good grades. The course curriculum is totally relevant to the branch. Semester exams are neither very easy nor very difficult, and the passing percentage is 40%.
Other: IT branch is all about programming and technical skills. There are a lot of clubs like dance, music, theater and poetry for students to take part in the college fests.
