Placement is very good in our college.
Placements: My branch is instrumentation and control engineering and in that branch in studying sensors and data science AI, and everything about industrial projects and many more in 2025. Almost 62% of students get placements in our course in instrumentation and control engineering. In this course, the indices are low for that reason the colleges are better.
Infrastructure: So in that area hostel is very good. The Wi-Fi facility, labs, classroom, and library are also excellent. Mess facility is expensive but good quality. The courses in instrumentation and control engineering are about industrial automation and AI learning in industry.
Faculty: Faculty, curriculum, and exams of our course are online mode in first year and 2nd year is offline mode that is why it is easy to pass 1st year. Faculty members are very happy and caring person about people so faculty members are very chill.

Absolutely satisfied with my college.
Placements: All female students are placed, while 30-40% of the male students are placed. The highest package is 10 LPA, the lowest package is 2.5 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA. Honeywell, Emerson, Aditya Birla, Johnson Controls, and Tata Power are the top recruiting companies. Around 60-70% of students got internships
Infrastructure: The Instrumentation and Control Engineering department is well equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, advanced laboratories, and smart classrooms. The department also has a dedicated library with reference books, journals, and project reports to support academic and research work.
Faculty: The teachers in our department are extremely helpful, supportive, and always approachable for guidance. Their exams do not only depend upon written papers; they also include presentations and group discussions, which help students get placements and boost their confidence.

Review of Vishwakarma Institute of Technology.
Placements: Currently, I'm in the B.Tech. in Instrumentation and Control Engineering course in the second year. This branch is a mixture of 3 branches, i.e., mechanical, computer science, and electronics. The highest package offered is 54 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Emerson Global, L&T, Nvidia, etc. Usually, more than 80% of students get internships in the instrumentation and control engineering course. Top roles offered are automation engineer, SDE, etc.
Infrastructure: In our department, we will get Wi-Fi connectivity in each corner of the campus. We have 4 to 5 canteens, a separate library, and reading rooms to study. After COEP, VIT Pune's labs are the best. Currently, I am staying in the college's official hostel, and it is really good. It provides us with all the amenities like a geyser, bed, table, cupboard, etc. The mess food is okay, and not that good.
Faculty: In the course curriculum, we cannot beat VIT every year as we get a different curriculum and different courses which are relevant to industry and current situations. All our faculty members are PhD holders. They have great teaching techniques, and we may find some faculty members too helpful for our careers. This course is designed in such a way that it is most relevant and can get us placed. Semester exams are not that difficult, and it is mediocre. Internals carry more marks than theory exams.
Other: I chose this college because of the freedom it gives students. The colleges organised good fests named Visbwakrandak and Vishawautsav, which are really good. The campus crowd is okay and not that good.

Advanced Facilities & Practical Infrastructure at VIT Pune's Instrumentation and Control Dept.
Placements: Approximately 75-80% of the students from the Instrumentation and Control Engineering course were placed during campus recruitment. Top Recruiting Companies: HONEYWELL, EMERSON, INFOSYS, SEIMENS ENERGY, etc. Around 70–75% of students received internship offers during their course.
Infrastructure: 1. Labs: The department is well equipped with modern laboratories, including: Process Control Lab: Features equipment for hands-on experiments related to process dynamics and control. Instrumentation Lab: Houses various transducers, sensors, and instrumentation devices. Control Systems Lab: Includes setups for studying different types of control systems and controllers. Industrial Automation Lab: Equipped with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and other automation tools. These labs are designed to provide practical exposure to students, enhancing their understanding of theoretical concepts. 2. Classrooms: Spacious, well-ventilated classrooms with comfortable seating arrangements. Equipped with audio-visual aids like projectors and smart boards to support interactive learning. Wi-Fi enabled access to online resources and e-learning tools during lectures. 3. Library: A well-stocked library with a vast collection of textbooks, reference books, journals, and research papers related to instrumentation and control engineering. Access to digital resources, including e-books, online journals, and databases. Reading rooms and study areas for students to work on their assignments and projects. 4. Wi-Fi and Internet Facilities: High-speed Wi-Fi connectivity is available throughout the campus, including in classrooms, labs, and common areas. Students can access online study material, research databases, and other educational resources from anywhere on campus.
Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified, and the best aspect of the course is its curriculum, which is entirely practical-based. This approach ensures that students gain hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge, preparing them effectively for industry challenges.

A great college for extracurricular activities and making connections. The intake is a huge worry.
Placements: I am currently in 2nd year of engineering studying at this college. The placement percentage this year is around 85% till now, which is actually good, but not that great. Obviously, the upper branches like CS and IT have more placements compared to other branches. For my branch, specifically, the highest package ranges from 25-30 LPA, but it is not in the core field. However, it is offered in tech. Top recruiting companies for our course are Nvidia, Barclays, and JP Morgan. Around 150 companies, including startups, visit our college during placement season. Around everyone who applies for internships gets it in 3rd year.
Infrastructure: For the instrumentation course, labs are well-furnished and have the equipment that we require. There is also equipment that we can borrow from the college temporarily for the project we want to work on. The college will provide it if our project idea is good. Classrooms and labs are clean. The library is also good with a vast amount of books, but it is small compared to other colleges. Our campus is small, and that is a big drawback as the intake of college students has increased drastically. Hostel food is not that good, but rooms are clean.
Faculty: In my course, out of 10, 8 teachers have knowledge and teach very well, and they helped us with the project. The course curriculum is one thing I appreciate about my college. Almost everyone can learn anything, as most of the subjects, including coding, are offered to every branch, including my branch. But not every subject is needed. Some are just waste and are not needed for industry work. Our exams are not that hard, and we can easily get 8 or 8.5 CGPA if we study well. Almost everyone passes the semester exams, and the backlog percentage is not that high.
Other: I chose this course because it is an interesting choice of course and not every college offers this course. Semiconductors and sensors are one thing I have an interest in. There are 3 main fests in college, and other fests are conducted by different clubs. Our college has around 70 clubs, so we can engage with seniors and have interaction with almost anyone from any branch. There are a lot of extracurricular activities and fun things to do. The campus is small, which is a huge drawback.
