JEE Advanced 2021: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur made the official website of the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced 2021 live long ago. However, the exam has to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic across the country. Now, after the announcement of JEE Main dates, it is expected that the IIT Kharagpur will announce the JEE Advanced dates and make available its application form soon.
The exam will be conducted online across various test cities distributed over seven zonal IITs. Candidates must check the JEE Advanced eligibility criteria before filling the application form. JEE Advanced 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must go through the following JEE Advanced 2021 eligibility criteria before filling the application form. Key points to eligibility criteria are given below:
Nationality: All Indian National (including OCI/ PIO), as well as foreign national category candidates, will be eligible for the examination.
Qualification: Candidates must have qualified class 12 board exam in 2020. Students appearing for the board exam in 2021 with Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry from any recognised board or university to be eligible.
Percentage: The 75% criteria in the qualifying exam has been relaxed.
Age Limit: Candidates must have born on or after October 1, 1996. There will be 5 years of relaxation for reserved category candidates.
No of Attempts: Candidates will be only allowed to attempt JEE Advanced two times in two consecutive years.
Other (Mandatory): Candidates must come under the top 2.5 lakh qualifying candidates in paper-1 of JEE Main 2021 (including all categories).
JEE Advanced 2021 Application Form
IIT Kharagpur will release the JEE Advanced application form 2021 on the official website tentatively in May. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of JEE Advanced 2021 before filling the application form. Candidates must ensure to submit their JEE Advanced application form 2021 before the last date. Candidates can check the steps to fill the application form below:
Step-1: JEE Advanced Registration: In the first step, candidates will have to register online at JEE Advanced portal using their JEE Main Application Number and Password. After login, candidates will have to enter additional information.
Step-2: Uploading Documents: Once all the details of the form are entered, candidates will have to upload marks sheets of class 10th and 12th, category certificate (if applicable) and other specified documents as per the specifications provided by the authorities.
Step-3: Payment of Registration Fees: Next, candidates will be required to pay the JEE Advanced registration fee. The details of the fee are provided in the table below:

Step-4: Printing of Confirmation Page: In the last step, candidates have to finally submit their JEE Advanced 2021 application form and take its printout. Students are not required to send the hard copy of the application form to the office.

JEE Advanced 2021 Admit Card
Candidates who registered successfully for the exam will only be allowed to download the JEE Advanced 2021 Admit card. The hall ticket will tentatively be released will get released two weeks before the exam. Candidates will need to enter their login credentials to download the JEE Advanced admit card. The admit card will comprise all the details like their name, roll number, exam date, timing, centre, and all other exam instructions. It will be mandatory for all candidates to carry admit cards at the exam centre with one valid ID proof. The same hall ticket will be required for the AAT exam. After the commencement of the exam, the authority will release the JEE Advanced 2021 answer key (provisional) tentatively within a week. A separate category-wise merit list will be prepared for the preparatory course. With the help of the answer key, candidates will be able to estimate their marks before the result declaration. No, your candidature will be rejected as you need to have minimum of 75% in class 12 to be eligible for admisison to the IITs, NIT, IIITs and GFTIs via the JoSAA counselling.
