JEE Main 2017 Topper Vedant Raval

Vedant Raval, AIR 4 in JEE Main 2017, not only bagged 4th position across the country but he is also the top scorer for his home state Gujarat. A student of PBD High School, Vedant scored a near perfect score of 345 out of 360.

Congratulatory calls haven’t stopped for him ever since the JEE Main 2017 exam results were declared on April 27, 2017.

Talking to Shiksha, Vedant unveiled his preparation strategies saying that sincerity is the key element for success. While preparing for competitive exams, he only believes in conceptual learning and hard work. Adding more about the strategies, Vedant told that he used to study 7-8 hours a day and devoted every single second to the JEE Main preparations.

  My mother was always ready with all sorts of positive thoughts  

Not forgetting to mention about his parents, Raval further added that his mother inspired him and was his morale booster while studying. “She was always ready with all sorts of positive thoughts”. He believes that his father and sister also played an important role and are as much responsible for his success as his mother.

Aiming to pursue the course of Computer Science from IIT Bombay, Raval is all set and confident to appear for the JEE Advance which is to be held on May 21, 2017.

Vedant loves to either watch movies or take a sneak peek into some sports channel. His Hobbies include reading and playing cricket.
