Do questions even repeat in JEE Advanced, and if yes, what are the most repeated questions in JEE Advanced from Maths, Physics and Chemistry? Let’s discuss in this article below.
As per the experts and after careful inspection by Shiksha, it has been found that questions rarely repeat in the JEE Advanced exam. No question is asked in JEE Advanced more than once. Therefore, the most repeated questions in JEE Advanced cannot be pointed out. However, some topics and concepts are repeated most often in the exam, from which questions are designed almost every year. These are concepts and topics that the candidates have to ace from the JEE Advanced syllabus.

Most Repeated Questions in JEE Advanced Math, Chemistry and Physics
We have already established that questions do not get repeated in JEE Advanced. You will find repeated questions in JEE Mains year after year, but not in Advanced. But why?
This is the uniqueness of the JEE Advanced exam that makes it one of the toughest exams in the world. JEE Advanced is known for its unpredictability and the ever-evolving exam pattern. This exam is not meant to select, but to eliminate the candidates who are not up to the IIT standard. Thus, in JEE Advanced, there is no scope for predictions and repetitions.
Although the same question does not get repeated, when carefully examined, we found the following:
- There are some concepts from which questions are designed almost every year.
- Some types of questions come every year, like the numerical answer type questions and MCQs with one or more correct answers.
Thus, in this article, we will check some of the most repeated concepts and topics asked in JEE Advanced exam over the years in Maths, Physics and Chemistry. We will also provide PDFs of the type of questions that have come over the years involving these concepts. Keep reading below.

How to Prepare for JEE Advanced Using the Most Repeated Concepts
Now that we know what the most repeated concepts are in the JEE Advanced exam over the years, here is what you need to do:
- Focus on understanding the core concepts and how to apply them.
- Solve as many previous year JEE Advanced question papers to understand the patterns, difficulty level and time management.
- Revise the repeated topics and concepts every day from all the subjects.
- You can also make list of the most repeated topics and concepts (already provided above) and categorise the topics that are your strength and that are your weakness. Then, take chapter and topic wise mock tests to have a focused understanding of your mistakes and strengths.
The JEE Advanced aspirants are thus recommended not to expect any repetition of questions in the exam. However, expect some concepts to have more weightage in the exam than others. Do solve as many questions from these high weightage JEE Advanced topics and revise them regularly. Solve a broad range of questions from all these topics and practice management of time.

Candidates should ideally try to solve at least 3 previous year JEE question papers per week. However, candidates can also increase the frequency of this to 5 to 6 papers per week, one month before the exam.
