Engineering Admissions Through TS EAMCET Exam Rising: Shiksha Poll

Applicants looking for engineering admissions from Telangana prefer TS EAPCET exam or JEE Main exam for engineering admissions. Shiksha.com has conducted a poll and a total of 2324 applicants participated in the TS EAMCET poll. The data shows that the majority of students are looking for admissions to engineering courses through TS EAMCET.
Candidates must have qualified in 10+2 with PCM for Engineering or PCB for Agri/Pharmacy. Min 45% for General, 40% for reserved categories.
The minimum age limit to apply for TS EAMCET is 16 years. There is no upper age limit for the same.
TS EAMCET Engineering Admissions – Shiksha Polls Statistics
As per the Shiksha polls data on TS EAMCET, a total of 71.17% students preferred admissions to engineering courses. The list is followed by BSc course with 12.52% students preferring the courses. The least preferred course among students in B.F.Sc or B.V.Sc. TS EAMCET being popular state entrance exam caters approximately two lakh students every year. Chances of Admissions Through TS EAMCET Exam
The government of Telangana announced scrapping of 15% quota for non-local candidates in admissions. As per the order, 85% of seats in the state are now reserved for applicants belonging to Telangana state. This has increased the chances of applicants for admission to their preferred courses. JNTUH offers more than 60000 seats every year for admissions to undergraduate courses.

In 2023 1,71,945 students registered, while in 2024 a total of 3,55,182 students registered for the TS EAMCET exam.

- Reach the exam centre atleast 40-60 minutes before the reporting time.
