WBJEE 2025 Result: CSE wins by a majority as the most preferred branch in Shiksha Poll

WBJEE 2025 result has been announced by the authorities. Since the result is now out the students should ensure that they are fully prepared for the upcoming counselling process by choosing their order of course preferences. As per the online Shiksha poll, the majority of the students seem to opt for Computer Science and Engineering as their most preferred branch for WBJEE 2025 admission.

Through the online WBJEE 2025 counselling process, the students will be given the opportunity to select a list of their preferences from the offered BTech courses. The order of preferences selected is important since the authorities consider the submitted preferences for WBJEE 2025 seat allotment. Before the WBJEE 2025 counselling choice filling, the candidates are advised to check the previous year’s cutoff details to have a clearer idea about their chances of allotment.

As per the online poll conducted by Shiksha, 73% students selected Computer Science and Engineering as their most preferred BTech branch for admission through WBJEE 2025 counselling. 7% students are each opting for Mechanical or Electrical, or Electrical and Electronics Engineering for WBJEE admission. The remaining 6% students have selected Civil Engineering as their most preferred branch offered by the participating institutes of WBJEE 2025 counselling.
