Candidates can now check their seat allocation status for WBJEE DCAP 2026 Phase 2 Round 2 online at wbjeeb.co.in. Selection of candidates for admissions has been done based on their WBJEE rank. JEE Main merit rank or 12th standard qualifying exam marks will be accepted for applicable courses and institutes. If allotted to one or more choices, candidates will have to confirm their preference and lock it down. WBJEE seat acceptance fee of INR 2000 has to be paid through net banking/credit card/debit card.

The WBJEE seat acceptance fee is INR 5000 (refundable). To download the seat allotment letter, the students will have to pay the fee online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. If the fee is not paid, then they students will not be able to move forward with the admission confirmation process.
WBJEE cutoff is released online. It is prepared after checking different exam and admission related factors. Some important factors that are considered to determine cutoff are entrance exam difficulty level, previous years' cutoff trends, number of seats for admission, total number of applicants and more.

WBJEE Decentralised Counselling 2026: Key Points
Candidates can check some key points of WBJEE 2026 decentralised counselling process below.
- Those who have already participated in the centralised WBJEE counselling do not have to register for the decentralised process. They can log in and fill out their choices for allotment.
- WBJEE 2026 decentralised counselling will be held in two phases. Each phase will have two allotment rounds. No fresh choice filling will be accepted for Round 2 allotment.
- Allocation/selection list will consist of candidates selected for that College/Institute-Stream/Discipline combination. If candidates are included in multiple allocation lists, they will have to lock down one choice.
- For Round 2 allocation, only those candidates who have not been allotted in Round 1 process will be eligible.
- Candidates who have already taken admission in an institute through WBJEE will also be eligible for decentralised counselling. It is to be noted that their seat will not be cancelled during participation. Once they confirm their new allotment, the cancellation of the previous allotment will start.
- Allotted candidates who do not accept any allocation in two consecutive phases will be debarred from further counselling phases.
- For allocation confirmation, the WBJEE 2026 seat acceptance fee of INR 2000 has to be paid online.

Earlier, WBJEEB had announced that candidates who participated in the earlier WBJEE centralised counselling 2026 (including Pharmacy) and have accepted a seat and completed admission will not be eligible for the decentralised process. However, they have rolled back their criteria and announced that now all candidates with a valid WBJEE rank can participate in the online decentralised counselling process. Those who have already taken admission through centralised online counselling will also be eligible for decentralised counselling.

WBJEEB has released the official seat matrix for WBJEE Phase 1 decentralised counselling 2026. All state Government and private institutes where seats are still left vacant are participating in the decentralised counselling process. As per the official WBJEE 2026 decentralised counselling seat matrix, 33,857 BTech seats are available for admissions. For BPharm, 2,634 seats are also available through WBJEE DCAP 2026. During WBJEE counselling, the students who want to withdraw their admission have to complete it before the last date. If the withdrawal is not done on time, then they will not be able to get refund of the seat acceptance fee.
After the seats are allotted, students will have to pay seat acceptance fee of INR 5000 online to download allotment letter. Next, they will have to report to their respective college for document verification and tuition fee payment.
There are many private colleges that participate in WBJEE counselling. Some popular private colleges that will accept students based on their WBJEE scores are Heritage Institute of Technology, Techno India University, Haldia Institute of Technology, and more. The second round of WBJEE counselling is held to upgrade the registered candidates or freshly allot the ones who were not allotted in the first round. Fresh registrations will be accepted for Round 2.
WBJEE seat allotment result is declared online. To check allotment result, students have to select their type of registration and log in using their roll number and password. Students will not be informed about their allotment in any other mode.
If the students have any grievance about their WBJEE score, then they can raise a query through email to information [at]wbjeeb.nic.in. The grievances have to be submitted within 24 hours of the result declaration. Along with the grievance, the students will also have to attach copies of their OMR, rank card, question booklet number and its series code along with the question wise calculation of the score.
WBJEE result will be downloadable in form of a rank card. Students will have to log in with required details to check result. Once logged in, they can download result as WBJEE rank card. It will be needed during counselling and admission.

Yes, but only in private colleges through management quota, based on Class 12 marks, without needing WBJEE. Colleges like IEM, Heritage, Techno India, and Adamas offer this option.
Always check that the college is AICTE-approved before taking direct admission, as unapproved seats can create problems
