WBJEE 2026 Decentralised Seat Allocation Lists: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will release WBJEE 2026 seat allocation lists for the decentralised counselling online at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee. Through the WBJEE decentralised seat allocation lists 2026, candidates will be able to check their allotment status in the offered vacant seats. It is to be noted that WBJEE decentralised seat allocation lists will be drawn from the single combined college/institute-stream/discipline-wise merit list.
For each phase of WBJEE decentralised counselling, two allocation lists will be released. During WBJEE 2026 decentralised counselling, priority will be given to candidates with valid WBJEE ranks. How is WBJEE 2026 Decentralised Counselling Merit List Prepared?
To prepare merit list for WBJEE decentralised counselling, the following rank-source hierarchy will be followed. The hierarchy will be applied separately for each college/institute-stream/discipline selected by the candidates and will be subject to applicable courses and institutes.
- During WBJEE decentralised admission, first priority will be given to WBJEE rank holders for every college or course that they have applied for.
- Next, JEE Main ranks will be given second preference for admission. However, it the candidates have both WBJEE and JEE Main ranks, then WBJEE ranks will be checked for allotment.
- Finally, Higher Secondary Merit Rank (HMR) will be applicable to candidates applying for admissions on the basis of their 12th standard qualifying exam.
WBJEEB will prepare one combined merit list for each college/institute-stream/discipline combination for every phase of WBJEE 2026 decentralised counselling. No separate merit lists will be released for WBJEE, JEE Main and HMR candidates. It is to be noted that the combined merit list will show the candidates’ relative merit position for that specific college/institute-stream/discipline combination.
WBJEE 2026 Decentralised Counselling Allocation/Selection List
WBJEE 2026 decentralised allocation list will be released online at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee. The allocation/selection list will be a separate list comprising only those candidates who, on the basis of the applicable vacancy, merit/rank hierarchy, eligibility, seat/category and reservation rules, fall within the selection range for that College/Institute-Stream/Discipline in the concerned allocation round.
If the candidate is included in an allocation/selection list, then the candidate has been provided a genuine opportunity to select that college/institute-stream/discipline for admission. Candidates may be included in allocation/selection lists of more than one selected combination. If they are included in multiple allocation lists, then they will have to lock only one available college/institute-stream/discipline for admission.

Only appearing for WBJEE is not enough for B.Arch. As per Council of Architecture (CoA) rules, you must also have a valid score in NATA or JEE Main Paper 2 (Architecture) alongside your academic and state entrance qualifications.
