WBJEE Decentralised Counselling Dates 2026: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has announced the revised WBJEE 2026 decentralised counselling dates. For Phase 2 Special Round 3 (R5), WBJEE 2026 decentralised seat allocation has been announced online at wbjeeb.co.in. Each decentralised WBJEE counselling phase has separate allocation rounds. WBJEE 2026 decentralised counselling is being held in two phases for a total of 33,857 vacant seats.

During WBJEE counselling, the students who want to withdraw their admission have to complete it before the last date. If the withdrawal is not done on time, then they will not be able to get refund of the seat acceptance fee.

Important Points of WBJEE Decentralised Counselling 2026
WBJEEB has introduced some important points through revised official WBJEE 2026 decentralised counselling notification. Candidates are advised to check the following points of WBJEE 2026 decentralised counselling process given below.
- Candidates will be able to freshly register for WBJEE decentralised counselling. However, candidates who participated in the centralized counselling are not required to register for decentralised process of WBJEE.
- WBJEE 2026 decentralised counselling will be held in two phases. Each phase will have separate allocation rounds.
- Candidates are able to submit preferred choices for Round 1 allocation. However, the choices will be locked for Round 2 allocation. Fresh choice filling is only allowed phase-wise.
- For WBJEE 2026 decentralised counselling, the registration fee is INR 250.
- Round 2 allocation will only be open for those who are not allotted in Round 1.
- Candidates who have already taken admission through centralized WBJEE counselling will be eligible to apply without risking their seat. Only if they confirm their new allotment, the cancellation of their previous allotment will start.
- WBJEE 2026 seat acceptance fee for decentralised counselling is INR 2000.

WBJEE 2026 Decentralised Counselling Allocation Lists
WBJEEB has released WBJEE 2026 Phase 2 Special Round 3 (R5) allocation lists for decentralised counselling. In the allocation lists, candidates can check their College/Institute-Stream/Discipline combination. Each candidates are eligible to appear in multiple allocation lists, however, they will have to choose their preference and lock it. WBJEE 2026 decentralised counselling allocation has been done based on WBJEE ranks. However, some institutes may accept JEE Main ranks and 12th standard marks for admission. If candidates are allotted in two or more preferences, then they will have to lock one choice and submit it for admission. Confirmation of admission has to be done by paying seat acceptance fee of INR 2000.

Yes, but only in private colleges through management quota, based on Class 12 marks, without needing WBJEE. Colleges like IEM, Heritage, Techno India, and Adamas offer this option.
Always check that the college is AICTE-approved before taking direct admission, as unapproved seats can create problems
