JEE Main Paper 2 Syllabus 2026: NTA will soon release the JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 syllabus for BArch (Paper 2A) and BPlan (Paper 2B). Candidates can check here previous year JEE Main Paper 2 syllabus pdf to start preparation for the exam. JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 exam will have two papers - Paper 2A for BArch admission and Paper 2B for BPlan admission. JEE Mains syllabus for Paper 2A has topics from Mathematics, Aptitude, and Drawing while the syllabus for Paper 2B includes topics from Mathematics, Aptitude, and Planning.

Aptitude Part II

  • Three-dimensional - perception: Understanding and appreciation of scale and proportion of objects, building forms, and elements, color texture, harmony, and contrast.
  • Design and drawing of geometrical or abstract shapes and patterns in pencil.
  • Transformation of forms both 2 D and 3 D union, subtraction, rotation, development of surfaces and volumes, Generation of Plan, elevations, and 3 D views of objects.
  • Creating two-dimensional and three-dimensional compositions using given shapes and forms.
  • Sketching of scenes and activities from memory of urbanscape (public space, market, festivals, street scenes, monuments, recreational spaces, etc.), landscape (river fronts, jungles, trees, plants, etc.), and rural life.

No. The JEE Mains emphasizes on deep knowledge and quote challenging with negative marking whereas KCET is moderately difficult which emphasizes on direct factual questions with no negative markings.

Yes. Students with valid JEE Main scores can apply for admissions through the WBJEE counselling. However, these students will be eligible for allotment only in the 10% approved seats offered by the self-financing colleges and institutes participating in the state-level counselling.

Yes the SRMJEEE paper pattern is similar to JEE Main however, the difficulty level is not equivalent to JEE main and the question paper is adjusted to moderate level difficulty level which will be easy for most students.
