JEE Main 2024 Paper-2 Analysis for session 1
The difficulty level of the JEE Main Paper-2 session 1 2024 was easier than previous year exam. Overall, Paper-2 can be considered as the “Moderate”. Total marks of JEE Main Paper-2 were 400. All the other details related to paper-2 are given in the table below:

JEE Main Paper Analysis Previous Year
Most candidates have stated that the JEE Main 2024 Paper 2A was moderate in nature with the difficulty level of the questions falling in mid-range. While some students said that they found a few questions from the Mathematics section to be difficult, they would still solve them in a given time.
As per the coaching institutes, many questions in JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Exam were from 3D. Some students have said that the paper consisted of 4 to 5 questions related to 3D structures which were of moderate difficulty level. Another set of questions asked in the exam was related to IDFC Infrastructure Development Finance Company (IDFC).

Immediate Reactions from Students about Paper 2 (Forenoon Session) of JEE Main
(1) The Paper -2 (B.Arch. Paper) of JEE (Main) was different from Paper-2 of B. Planning.
(2) The full marks of the JEE Main Paper-2 for both (B. Arch & B. Planning) were 400 respectively.
(3) Overall, the Papers were of Moderate Level as per students.
Analysis of B. Arch Paper(2A):

Part-I- Mathematics had total 30*questions – Sec-I had 20 Multiple choice questions with Single correct answers & Sec-II had 10 Numerical based questions out which only 5 had to be attempted. Marking scheme for both multiple choice questions and numerical based questions was +4 for correct response, -1 for incorrect response, 0 if not attempted.

No, JEE Main is not required to take admission in BTech at NMAM Institute of Technology, NITTE University. The college accepts NUCAT scores for BTech admissions. NUCAT is conducted by the institute itself. It has MCQ type questions with no negative marking.

Yes, JEE Main is enough for HVPM College of Engineering & Technology BTech admissions. The college accepts students through an entrance basis only. Hence, a student have either JEE Main or MHTCET score is eligible. The basic eligibility must also be fulfilled.
