The first step of the KIITEE counselling process is choice filling. In this, students have to choose their branch options in order of preference. Based on the choice filling and merit in the KIITEE 2026 exam, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology will issue the branch allotment. Q:   Does KIIT refund the counselling fee?
A: 

As per the KIITEE refund rules on the website,

  • The total fees will be refunded, excluding the counselling registration fees of Rs.10,000/-, anytime after admission, but before reporting.
  • No refund will be allowed after the commencement of the course.
  • In all cases where the student has been admitted to the course after the commencement of classes through the waiting list or otherwise, their case will be considered as after the commencement of the course.
  • In case of Foreign student candidates, the refund will be made in accordance with Foreign Exchange Regulations.

Refund will be made only after the candidate has surrendered the ID card, Original Fee Receipt, Allotment letter, Fee estimate letter and the dues clearance certificate along with the hard copy of the refund application form generated after applying online. 

Q:   What is the counselling fee for KIITEE 2026?
A: 

The KIITEE counselling fee is required to be paid at the time of admission. Candidates can pay the amount as a Demand Draft of Rs. 75,000/- which includes the Counselling Registration fees of Rs.10,000 (Non Refundable) in favor of KIIT, Payable at Bhubaneswar. Balance fee as per the fee structure is to be paid on the day of reporting.
