GAT B (GAT-B/BET) MSc Biotechnology Exam Dates 2026: Check Complete Schedule Here

The National Testing Agency have completed conducting GAT-B application process. Registration for GAT-B and BET exam was held online. The GAT-B 2026 exam registration process comprises, candidate's registration, followed by filling of personal and educational qualification details, document uploading, and fee payment. 

Once, the application form is submitted, the authorities send a confirmation message mentioning that the form submitted successfully. After the GAT-B application form last date, NTA opens correction window facility. During the recttification process, candidates can make changes to the specific details (allowed by the authorities). 

NOTE: During the GAT-B correction window, students were able edit certain particulars, as notified on the official website.

GAT-B 2026 admit card was made available a few days before exam. GAT-B and BET registered students must download their hall ticket from official website. Students can download their admit card of GAT-B 2026 from login page. Credentials required are application number and date of birth/password. 

GAT-B 2026 hall ticket inlcudes following details printed -

• name of the applicant
• exam date and shift timings
• exam centre address details
• photograph
• signature
• exam day guidelines

NTA released GAT-B 2026 answer key and question paper along with response sheet on the official website. Candidates who have appeared entrance test can check provisional question paper and answer key. Candidates who wish to raise an objection can do it on the portal within the deadline. 

For each response, student has to pay a fee of INR 200/- (NON-REFUNDABLE) through netbanking/credit card/debit card. After reviewing all submissions, the authorities will release GAT-B 2026 final answer key along results. Based on the provisional answer key, the authorities will release GAT-B 2026 final answer key PDF. Considering final answer key, the result and scorecard will be issued to students.

The National Testing Agency announced GAT-B 2026 result. Candidates can check their qualifying status using their credentials - application number and password. The result of GAT-B/BET 2026 date was June 10. Candidates who have qualified for the exam will be called for GAT-B counselling later. 

NOTE:

• GAT-B and BET result and rank card have been uploaded on exams.nta.nic.ac.in/gat-bet
• Qualified candidates are eligible for the counselling process.
• The counselling dates will be updated on the website and is held online based on total number of seats available.
• Candidates will be allotted seats from the list of participating institutes based on the rank obtained. 

Candidates must note that NTA does not conduct GAT-B counselling. Qualified/shortlisted candidates will have to report to the allocated college to complete their admission and document verification process. 

Candidates must note that NTA is not responsible for conducting GAT-B counselling. The counselling is not conducted. Shortlisted candidates who qualified the GAT-B exam had to report to the allocated college/institute or university to complete their admission process. Once the NTA releases the GAT-B merit list, candidates have to check their allocated college and visit to check their GAT-B counselling and reporting time for document verification. The final selection will be done based on interview and performance in the exam.
