There are no chances of CPGET getting cancelled. It is conducted annually for admissions to Osmania University and other participating universities. However, if the number of applications for a particular course are low, the entrance test for that course may be cancelled.
Before filling the CPGET application form, aspirants must have the following documents ready.

CPGET Admission Process 2025
The events of the entrance exam remain the same year after year. The events are explained below in sequential order.
Application Form: First and foremost, aspirants must fill out the CPGET application form. Even before that, candidates are required to register themselves on the official website of the university by providing all the required details. Candidates must make sure that the given information is valid and correct. Once the registration is done, an automated email with a Username & Password will be sent to the registered email IDs/ phone numbers for future reference.
CPGET Admit Card: Candidates who successfully fill and submit their application forms and pay the application fee will be issued CPGET admit cards. This is an essential document that must be downloaded from the exams website and must be preserved until the counselling stage of the admission process. Aspirants are also required to mandatorily carry it to the exam centres along with a Government-issued photo ID.
The Test: CPGET is conducted online (computer-based test). Candidates must appear for the exam on the assigned date and time (mentioned on the admit card). The test will be 90 minutes long with objective-type (multiple-choice) questions. The MCQs asked in the test papers will also be of different kinds.

CPGET Results: Once the entrance test is conducted, the university will announce the CPGET results. The results will be published on the official website. Examinees will have to log in using their login credentials generated during the time of registrations to access their results.
CPGET Counselling: Based on the results, examinees who score enough marks to pass the test will then be called for CPGET counselling. This process involves another registration, an in-person document verification and payment of a counselling fee. Based on this, students will be allotted seats to their chosen programmes offered at the participating institutes.

For General and OBC category candidates, the CPGET counselling registration fee is INR 200 while SC, ST and PH candidates have to pay INR 150.
In addition to the entrance exam day, the CPGET hall ticket is also required during the document verification process. For the entrance exam, examinees must affix a passport sized photo (same as the one used in the application form) to their CPGET hall tickets and carry a government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driver's License, Voter ID) along with it. During document verification, a cope of the admit card must be produced along with other documents like the CPGET Rank Card.

CPGET 2025 Pattern
CPGET is a computer-based online test. Candidates are given 90 minutes to attempt 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each worth one mark. This 100-question count applies to each course offered through the entrance test except for MPEd. In the MPEd test paper, examinees must attempt 75 MCQs. The Physical Education Department of Osmania University will award the other 25 marks based on the candidates' physical performance. Also, there is no negative marking in this entrance exam.

Step 4. Click on the edit window and make changes.
Step 5. Go through the details once again.

Yes, Osmania University provides an application correction window for applicants after the last date of filling the CPGET application form. Applicants cannot change primary information like name, parents' names, etc. However, they can make changes to the rest of the application form and edit exam centre choices, courses preferences, etc.
The CPGET marking scheme is as follows.
- There is no negative marking for the incorrect answer in the CPGET exam.
- Candidates will be awarded 1 mark each for the correct answer.
