SRMJEEE PG Exam Pattern 2026: Duration, Marking Scheme, Check Section-wise Format Here

The examination scheme for the SRMJEEE PG exam is as follows-

• The mode of the examination is online, with a duration of 150 minutes.

• The mode of language of the question paper is English. 

• Questions will be asked in multiple-objective format.

• There will be a total of 100 questions comprising mathematics and subject-specific questions.

• For each correct answer, three marks will be awarded. However, there is no negative marking for incorrect answers. 

Candidates must carry their SRMJEEE PG exam admit card and any valid identity proof, such as an Aadhaar card or voter ID card. Candidates will be allowed to enter the examination with an admit card.

• Mathematics - vector calculus, determinants and matrices, analytic function theory, differential calculus, multiple integrals and ordinary differential equations, numerical methods, and probability and statistics.
• Structural Engineering (Strength of materials, structural analysis, and design.
• Design of RC and steel elements
• Geotechnical engineering
• Water Respurces Engineering (Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulics, Hydrology and Irrigation)
• Environmental Engineering (Air and Water Pollution and Waste Management)
• Transporation Engineering - Transporation Infrastructure
• Geomatics Engineering - Surveying and mapping, Remote sensing and GIS,

• 10 questions from Mathematics for all PG programs except Biotechnology and Food Processing.
