SRMJEEE PG 2026 Exam Pattern: The SRM Institute of Science and Technology released SRMJEEE PG paper pattern and marking scheme. Candidates appearing for exam go through format of SRMJEEE test details and prepare accordingly. 

SRMJEEE PG 2026 is conducted in remote-proctored mode online for 150 minutes. Candidates can attempt using their desktop or laptop while keeping their webcam open. Candidates can refer to the exam day guidelines before attempting the remore-proctored exam. The question paper will have 100 MCQs with no negative marking. SRMJEEE PG 2026 Subject-Wise Weightage

The officials do not release any subject-wise weightage for SMJEEE MTech exam. However, as per the pattern scheme and information, the Mathematics section contains 10 questions for all PG programs except Bio-technology and Food Processing. On the other hand, the subject-specific (core-section) consist of 90 questions in MCQ format which are scholastic aptitude level.

SRM Institute of Science and Technology mentions SRMJEEE PG examination pattern on its official website, followed by information brochure. Candidates can check important details regarding exam scheme below -

  • Exam duration is 150 minutes (two and a half hours). Applicants will not be offered relaxation or extra time. 
  • Mode of exam is online and will be held for 100 MCQs.
  • Questions will be in scholastic aptitude type in the English language.
  • For each correct answer, three marks will be awarded. However, there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
  • Hence, it is advised to prepare for SRMJEEE PG accordingly.
  • Canidates must maintain discipline and follow all instructions mentioned for the remote-proctored exam. 
  • Candidates must ensure they show their SRMJEEE PG 2026 admit card to the invigilator.
  • Applicants must go through the questionnaire before answering the questions.

System compatibility

Computer - Intel i3 (4TH Gen) equivalent CPU, 4 GB RAM or above, 2 GB free hard disk space, Windows 8 or above Mac 10.14 Mojave or higher, 80 GB HDD or higher, 15” color Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, Microsoft Windows 10 and above Antivirus Webcam and microphone. 

Candidates cannot attempt test in mobile.

Internet connection

Stable internet connection with 1 MBPS (atleast). It should remain stable throughout the exam. If using a hotspot, then make sure there is enough data balance.

To apply for SRMJEEE PG, candidates need to meet the minimum qualifying criteria which includes academic criteria and minimum qualifying criteria, which are as follows -

  • BTech/B.E in the relevant discipline
  • Minimum qualifying mark of 50%

The SRMJEEE PG 2026 phase III application form last date is July 10. Registered candidates will have to attempt the remote-proctored exam on July 15.

The last date to apply for SRMJEEE PG Phase II application form was May 11, and the exam was held on May 16 in remote-proctored mode.

The admit card is released a few days before the exam date. The exam conducting authorities will inform applicants on registered email ID regarding the issuance of SRMJEEE PG admit card.

No, candidates cannot change their SRMJEEE M.Tech exam date once allotted. Students will have to appear for the exam on the date they have applied for.
