CTET Documents List

Candidates should keep these documents and details ready before filling out the CTET Application form. The list of documents and other necessary details required for registration is shared below:

• Valid Email ID

• Mobile number

• Details about identity proof - Aadhar/ PAN/ Passport/ Driving Licence

• Scanned images of the candidate’s photograph and signature as per the specified format.

• Educational certificates: Class 10 and 12 educational details, Graduation, D.El.Ed/ B.Ed

• Debit or credit card/ net banking details

• Caste or Category certificate, if applicable
• PwD certificate, if applicable

The online application process begins with the CTET registration, followed by filling out the application form, uploading scanned documents and payment of the CTET application fee. Read further to know the application process for the CTET exam. Before filling out the CBSE CTET form, candidates are advised to go through the CTET Eligibility Criteria 2025. Have a look at the important points regarding the CTET registration 2025 below:

• Candidates should mention their own mobile number and email ID while filling out the application form as all the communication regarding the CTET exam is done through mobile and email only
• No correction in the application form is accepted through offline (fax/application) or online (email) mode. Candidates have to wait for the CTET application correction window to open to make any changes to the form
• The application fee, once paid, shall not be refunded

Aspirants need to follow the steps to successfully register for the CTET exam.

Step 1: Register for CTET 2025 Exam

To register, candidates need to visit the official website of the exam (ctet.nic.in) and click on the link available for the application form. Thereafter, candidates need to click on the Apply button under the New Candidate Registration header. Candidates need to read and download the information brochure carefully and click on the checkbox at the bottom of the page. Next, candidates need to click on 'Click Here to Proceed'. On clicking the button, CTET registration form 2025 will open on the screen. In the online form, candidates need to fill in the below-mentioned details.

Once all the information in the registration form is filled in, candidates need to verify all details entered and click on the checkboxes at the end of the page. Thereafter, click on the Final Submit button. Note down the system-generated application number and retain it for future use. 

Step 2: Fill CTET Online Form 2025

To proceed towards filling the application form, click on the Complete Application Form button and fill in all the remaining details in the online form. Information that candidates need to provide in their application form for the CTET exam needs to be the same as mentioned by them in their Class 10 board exam.

Once all details are filled in, enter the security pin displayed on the screen and click on the Submit button. Verify all details entered carefully and click on the checkboxes at the end of the page. Thereafter, click on the Final Submit button.

Step 3: Upload Documents

Next, aspirants need to upload scanned images of their latest photograph and signature in JPG format as per the below-mentioned specifications.

Once uploaded, enter the security pin and click on the checkbox at the end of the page. Thereafter, click on the Upload button. 

Step 4: Pay CTET Application Fee

Next, candidates need to proceed toward the CTET exam fee payment. For the same, click on the Pay Examination Fee button. Choose the payment option (online/real-time e-challan) and click on the Proceed button. Pay the prescribed fee through the selected mode of payment. Once the fee is successfully submitted, the CTET confirmation page will be generated and the application process will be completed. Further, candidates should take a printout of the CTET confirmation page and keep it for future reference, if any.

After the successful payment of the CTET application fee, a confirmation page is generated automatically. The CTET confirmation page works as proof of payment of the application fee. Therefore, candidates need to retain the confirmation page for their records and future reference. However, in case the confirmation page does not generate after the payment of the application fee, the candidate must contact the Deputy Secretary of the Exam.

Candidates can contact the CTET Deputy Secretary, CBSE, between 10:00 AM-5:00 PM along with proof of payment of the fee. Candidates paying the fee through e-challan can show a copy of the same. Candidates can contact the CTET Deputy Secretary at the address shared below.

The CBSE also provides a one-time facility for candidates to make corrections to the already submitted CTET 2025 Application. The CTET form correction window will be available online. Candidates who have already submitted their applications will be able to undertake the CTET application form correction facility to make changes to the form.

Steps to avail of CTET Application Form Correction Facility 

Candidates can make corrections to their already submitted application form by following the steps mentioned below.

• Visit the official website of the exam
• Click on the link available for the CTET application form correction
• Enter the application number, password and security pin (as shown in the image)
• Click on the Sign In button
• Click on the application form correction button
• Read the instructions on the page and click on the checkbox at the bottom of the page
• Click on the Proceed for Correction button
• Make the required changes in the application form
• Enter the security pin and click on Submit
• Review the application form
• Click on the checkboxes at the bottom of the page
• Click on the Final Submit button

CTET Application Form Correction: Important Points to Note

• CTET application correction is a one-time facility. Therefore, candidates are advised to check all details in the CTET online form carefully.
• The application correction is allowed for only those candidates who have completed all the steps of the CTET registration process and paid the application fee.
• Candidates can make corrections in all the particulars of the application form except images
• After making the necessary correction, candidates should take a printout of the revised CTET confirmation page

While submitting the CTET online form, candidates are required to make choices of the CTET exam centres. Candidates need to select four CTET exam centres in order of preference while submitting their applications.
