
IBPS Clerk Notification 2026: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is expected to release IBPS Clerk notification in July to fill up vacancies for the posts of Customer Service Associates (CSA). IBPS Clerk Application Form 2026
IBPS Clerk application form is released online only. The application fees for the IBPS Clerk exam are INR 850 for General and OBC candidates and INR 175 for SC/ST/PWD categories. The application fees can be paid online. The application process comprises the following stages.

After this period, candidates are confirmed as permanent employees only after an assessment through a test or review of their performance in the probation period. IBPS Clerk cannot be internally recruited as a Probationary Officer since POs are directly recruited. However, clerks can shift to the officer cadre as TOs (Trainee Officers) or JMGS-1 (Junior Management Grade Officer Scale -1). IBPS Clerk is an entry-level post. This post offers a lot of learning and opportunities. They are asked to verify documents and proofs submitted by customers. They also maintain cash and Demand Drafts. Recruitment is done as per selection process.
IBPS Clerk normalisation is applied in the calculation of cut off. This process is followed to adjust the difficulty level of question asked in the exam. The cut off for the Mains and prelims exams are calculated based on the normalised marks.
