The Staff Selection Commission notify the number of vacancies in the official advertisement. The Commission notifies the Grade C and Grade D vacancies separately for the SSC Stenographer exam. The total number of SSC Stenographer 2025 vacancies are 261 and the break-up of vacancies are still awaited.

The Commission conduct the Computer-Based Exam(CBE) for all the candidates and select the candidates for the skill test. The Staff Selection Commission conducted the SSC Stenographer exam from August 6 to 8. The Commission released the result on November 28 for both the posts. The Commission selected 8,624 candidates for the Grade 'C' and 22,456 Grade 'D' posts.
