One of the most popular institutes of Engineering in Jharkhand is NIT Jamshedpur or National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur. What is currently referred to as the National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur was once the Regional Institute of Technology. In 1960, there was the establishment of the institution in partnership between the Government of Bihar and the Government of India.
