The AIBE 21 Notification 2026 has been released. The Bar Council of India will conduct the AIBE 21 Exam 2026 on June 7, 2026. The Bar Council of India will open the AIBE 21 registration window on February 11, 2026. The registered candidates will be able to complete the fee payment and form correction process until May 1, 2026. The last date to register for the exam is April 30, 2026. According to the Bar Council of India (BCI), it is mandatory to clear the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) to practice in any court in the country. The BCI has announced the AIBE 21 Exam Dates in an official notification. Once you clear the AIBE 21 Exam 2026, the BCI will issue the Certificate of Practice (CoP).

Who’s Eligible for AIBE 21 (XXI) Exam 2026?
Before beginning the AIBE Application Process it is very important to check the AIBE Eligibility Criteria. Read the eligibility criteria for AIBE below:
- Nationality Requirement: You must be an Indian citizen. No exceptions.
- Educational Qualification: You need to have completed either a 3-year or 5-year LLB degree from a recognized university.
- Final-Year Students Allowed: Thanks to a Supreme Court ruling (Sept 21, 2024), final-semester LLB students with no backlogs are eligible to apply.
- Enrollment with State Bar Council: You must be enrolled as an advocate under Section 24 of the Advocates Act, 1961.

1st to 5th semester (for 3-year LLB)
1st to 9th semester (for 5-year LLB)
- No Age Limit: There is no age restriction to apply for AIBE.
- No Minimum Marks Required: Your LLB percentage/grades don’t matter for AIBE eligibility.
- Unlimited Attempts Allowed: Didn’t clear it the first time? No worries—you can take the exam as many times as needed.
- Important Note on Registration Validity: You must get enrolled with a State Bar Council within two years of passing the AIBE. Otherwise, you may need to re-register.

- Log in with the AIBE XX 2026 registration credentials
- Click on the tab ‘Correction in Application Form’
- Enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number and email and click on the ‘Verify and Proceed’ tab
- Make the necessary changes provided the fields are editable and allowed for the candidates based on their Aadhaar verification status
