Common Mistakes to Avoid in AIBE Registration Form

Here are some common mistakes candidates should avoid while filling out the AIBE application form.

Mistake in Personal Details

The most common mistake is incorrectly entering the spelling of the name. If it is not rectified and the candidate clears the exam, the Certificate of Practice will be issued in the incorrect name and after the application correction window, the personal details will not be available for editing.

Date of Birth is the second most important component of the AIBE application process. Any mismatch between the details filled in the AIBE 22 application form and the documents attached for verification purposes can lead to Application rejection.

Entering incorrect information due to typing errors can create problems later. Candidates should check whether the details entered in the application form match their official documents. Before submitting the form, candidates should review all personal information carefully instead of assuming that every detail can be corrected later.

Not Giving Active Mobile Number or Email ID for AIBE Registration

For AIBE Registration process, the candidates are asked to provide an active mobile number and email id. It is seen that some candidates do not provide their active mobile number, but instead of it they provide the mobile number and email id of either parents, grandparents, siblings and the like. Sometimes they also provide the details of friends in the AIBE application form. This creates a problem in the OTP verification process.

Incorrectly Choosing Exam City Preferences

Candidates are advised to select their examination city preference carefully because in case the BCI allot the examination centre of the second or third preference, these exam centres should also be reached in time. So the examinaton centre selection is also important for the exam day.
Candidates should select their examination city preferences carefully.

Waiting for Last Minute filling of AIBE Application Form

Candidates are advised to fill the AIBE application form as soon as possible because during the last days of applications, due to heavy traffic on the website, technical glitches arise and various candidates could not fill their AIBE application due to technical issues.

No, one cannot get a CoP without having passed the AIBE if one completed his or her education with an LLB degree in or after 2009-2010. Passing the AIBE is mandatory for those who want to practice law on their own after completing an LLB degree from any recognised institution.

Candidates who do not meet AIBE passing criteria will not receive the Certificate of Practice. They will have to appear for the exam in the next cycle.
