JMI Application Form 2026: Correction Window (Soon), Date, Fees & How to Apply

Students wishing to study their desired UG, PG, Diploma, or Phd course offered by Jamia Milia Islamia through JMI entrance exam must have registered themselves for the test. The JMI application form was released online Jamia's official website. Check below to know steps to fill the online form:

1. Open JMI official website - admission.jmi.ac.in
2. Click on JMI Application Form link.
3. Click on New Registration button and enter required details
4. After entering all details, click on Sign up
5. Choose your desired Program(s), fill in the personal, category and academic details and upload the academic documents
6. Submit the application fee.

Note - Before signing up, make sure that all the information that you put in is correct. Once the application is submitted, you will receive one confirmation Email/ SMS. It will contain an OTP, an activation link and login details. Open your email account and click on the activation link or go to the login page of the official website to complete the registration process and start filling up your online form. 

JMI Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria 2026

Jamia Millia Islamia prescribes the eligibility requirements that an applicant must fulfill to appear for the entrance exam and be eligible for the counselling & admission process.  Check here to know the JMI eligibility criteria for different courses.

JMI Eligibility Criteria 2026: Other Courses

• BTech: merit based on the final ranks of candidates in JEE Main
• BArch: merit based on the final ranks of candidates in NATA
• BDS: merit in NEET

To complete the registration process, candidates have to upload some documents. Check out the list of documents required while filling out JMI application form.

• Scanned Photograph
• Scanned Signature
• Credit card, Net Banking details or ATM/ Debit Card

Note - Candidates whose results for the qualifying examinations are yet to be announced can also apply, but applicants are advised to submit the required certificates to be eligible for the exam.

JMI Photo and Signature Specifications

Applicants are required to upload all the required documents in the file specifications pre-decided by the exam body. Files with specifications other than these will not be accepted on the online application portal.

To successfully fill JMI application form, candidates must keep following points in mind.

1. Make sure to upload relevant and accurate documents as these will be used during counselling and final admission.
2. Upload scanned signature and photograph in the prescribed size and format. Failure to do so can result in rejection of application.
3. Give valid and active contact details, including phone number and email address, as these will be used to contact applicants during the entire admission process.
4. If there is any incorrect detail mentioned in online form, make sure to correct it during correction window (if accessible).
5. Take a printout and keep a soft copy of JMI 2026 Application Confirmation Page

Note: The application fee can be paid via Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking. The application fee once received successfully at JMI's end is non-refundable.

As the JMI application window for new registration has closed, Jamia Millia Islamia will soon open the correction window. It will allow candidates to edit their online form. Candidates who have filled out their forms will be able to edit their details by clicking on the correction window link. Follow below process to make corrections in JMI form:

• Open official website – admission.jmi.ac.in
• Click on ‘JMI Correction Window 2026’ link.
• Enter your JMI login 2026 details:
  • JMI application number (JMI16XXXXXXXX)
  • password (Date of Birth DD/MM/YYYY)
• Three tabs will appear on the screen - Candidate Registration, Edit Registration Data and Edit Application Form.
• Make changes in the required field.
• Review and save the changes.

Note - To edit un-details, candidates will have to drop an email at admission@jmi.ac.in. Apart from the above, candidates can edit all the other details. 

Candidates must note that details once edited cannot be edited again.
