AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) will be conducted on July 26, 2021, in online proctored mode. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS), the exam conducting authority decided to conduct the ATMA 2021 exam in online proctored mode with the help of Artificial Intelligence and Human Proctoring. ATMA 2021: Guidelines for AI Proctored Mode of Examination

Candidates can take the ATMA 2021 from their homes using a laptop or a desktop (with a webcam). Applicants must remember that they will be invigilated using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Human Proctoring. Candidates must take the exam ethically and honestly as AIMS holds the right to disbar the candidate if he/she is found to be involved in malpractice.

Basic Instructions

  • Candidates must use a laptop/desktop which has Chrome version 63 and above or Mozilla Firefox version 52 and above. Please note that ATMA online exam is not compatible with Edge versions.
  • If in case the candidate is using a laptop they must make sure that the laptop is connected with a power source
  • Applicants must have a stable internet connection with a minimum speed of 1 MBPS
  • Candidates must make sure they have a working webcam and mic
  • No chat window, applications, pop up, etc. should be open on the system
  • Candidates must register for the exam before appearing for it. They must only TYPE in their names and other details and not copy 
  • Applicants may be asked to install an extension 'Mettl Tests: Enable Screen Sharing'. They must install the same and grant access to the microphone and camera.
  • Candidates must sit in a well-lit area with proper light coming on the face
  • No electronic gadget will be permitted
  • Candidates must take the exam in formals

Instructions to be Followed During the ATMA IBT Exam

  • Candidates must not leave their seats throughout the test because their video and images will be recorded and supervised in real-time with the help of AI and Human Proctor
  • Applicants must not browse the internet during the exam
  • Candidates cannot refer to any study material during the exam
  • Candidates can only use a blank rough sheet for the calculations which must be shown to the proctor before the exam starts
  • Candidates must not press the F5 key as it will abruptly end the exam
  • Do not read the questions aloud
  • If the exam stops in between, do not panic. Re-login after 3-4 minutes. It will resume from where it stopped.
  • There should not be any disturbance or background noise. Candidates must know that they are not allowed to talk during the exam.
  • Candidates should keep a check on your proctor chat window. Proctors may try to reach them only for important messages.
  • Only one washroom break will be allowed during the exam for a maximum of five minutes. They must take permission from the proctor before leaving the seat, otherwise, it will be recorded as a violation.
  • Candidates must not forget their ATMA admit card and photo identity proof

Yes, PUMBA accepts ATMA scores for MBA admissions. The ATMA cut off for PUMBA is usually high and ranges between 85 to 90 percentile.

Association of Indian Management Schools does not conduct a centralised counselling process for the ATMA exam. Each participating institute releases its ATMA cutoff and students who match it have to appear for GD/PI/WAT rounds.

JBIMS does not accept ATMA scores anymore for MMS admissions and it accepts CAT, MAH MBA CET, and GMAT scores. 

The ATMA cutoff for PUMBA is usually high and ranges between 95 to 99 percentile.
