The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education conducts the IBSAT exam. IBSAT is a management entrance test for admission to its MBA/PGDM programmes. Authorities have announced the IBSAT exam date. IBSAT 2025 exam will be held on December 27 and December 28, 2025. With just a handful of days left, all aspirants must be on their toes all the time to finish their last-minute preparation. It is also the right time to be mindful of IBSAT 2025 exam day checklist/dos and don’ts besides just having a stronghold over the IBSAT syllabus. Due to the ongoing pandemic, IBSAT 2025 for the December session will be held in remote proctored online mode (home-based test). IBSAT Exam Day Checklist/ Dos to Remember

  1. Download the admit card from the official website. The IBSAT admit card is the most important document of proof of all candidates appearing for IBSAT 2025 exam.
  2. Candidates must check the wifi connection for a stable internet connection while taking the exam.
  3. Sit in a calm corner of the home to avoid any kind of distractions.
  4. Check your webcam before beginning the exam.
  5. Keep a copy of IBSAT 2025 admit card ready on the desktop. 
  6. Keep the device charged well in advance.
  7. Ensure that the webcam and mic are working properly while giving an examination.
  8. Ensure proper lighting in the room.
  9. Take the exam from a silent place in the home.
  10. The webcam must focus on the face and be visible in the camera.
  11. Candidates must capture the photo before beginning the examination.
  12. Candidates must wear transparent and non-reflecting glasses/lenses
  13. The water bottle must be transparent and must be kept beside it before the start of the examination.
  14. Do log in only after 3 mins to resume your examination in case your examination crashes.
  15. Appearing for the IBSAT mock test 2025 is mandatory
  16. Candidates must be available for the complete duration of the exam.

Note: Along with the necessary documents, candidates also need to report early on the exam day as security checks and other important formalities consume much of the time of the candidate. In the case of an online exam from home, candidates must check the necessary IT requirements beforehand.

Q:   Can I get direct admission to IBS Mumbai?

No, IBS Mumbai does not offer direct admission. The admission process is strictly entrance-based. Aspirants are required to take the IBSAT exam to become eligible for admission to the PGPM course. In addition, candidates with the required minimum score in CAT/XAT/NMAT or GMAT are also eligible to apply and are exempted from IBSAT exam. Q:   What is the last date for admissions to MBA course at IBS Gurgaon?

The last admission dates (LAD) for applying to the PGPM course at IBS Gurgaon, students can apply from July to February. Thus, the deadlines for applying to the course always lie in the month of February. Also, IBSAT is usually conducted in the last week of December and the results are also released on December's last date.

Yes, ICFAI Business School (IBS), Ahmedabad admissions has begun. Candidates willing to take admission in courses offered at IBS Ahmedabad must appear for the IBS Aptitude Test (IBSAT). The application process for IBSAT 2023 will continue till last week of December, 2023.

Candidates will be shortlisted for further admission rounds based on their score in IBSAT 2023 at IBS Ahmedabad.

The application form is available online at the official website - ibsindia.org. IBSAT registration fee is INR 1,800.

Things to Remember for IBSAT 2025 Exam Day

The IBSAT exam will have in total of 140 questions; aspirants have to cover it in 120 minutes. Without haste, attempt each of the questions. The ideal step is to read the entire IBSAT question paper carefully before directly starting to answer it.

  1. Read all the instructions carefully before starting the exam. Aspirants will be able to track any change in the finer details of the exam, like any change in the IBSAT pattern, marking scheme, etc. Keep some time for revision and check whether you have answered all the questions.
  2. Try to keep the mind free from tension, nervousness and hassles. Aim to give the exam in a calm temperament. For this, it is therefore important that a person sleeps well the night before the exam day.

IBSAT 2025 Exam Day Checklist: Don’ts To Remember

Aspirants must not keep any electronic gadgets such as electronic watches, calculators, and mobile phones, log tables, digital pens, slide rules, etc, while giving the exam. Further, like all other exams, in the IBSAT 2025 exam too, candidates cannot keep any reference materials, papers as well as any study materials while giving the exam.

Note: Aspirants cannot keep any material printed or written, paper bits while giving exam. For rough work and calculations, students can keep scratch papers to use during the test.

There are certain Don’ts to follow for IBSAT exam. Check them below.

  1. Candidates must not talk to anyone or refer to any study material. This will lead to disqualification.
  2. Candidates are advised not to use the keyboard while taking the examination. 
  3. Candidates will not be allowed to start the exam from multiple devices.
  4. The face must not be covered with a mask, hair, clothing, hand etc.
  5. There should be no background noise/music/television.
  6. Avoid sitting in the dimly lit rooms while giving the home-based exam.
  7. Don't use mobile hotspots, as they create instability
  8. Avoid sitting in the noisy areas of the home. Also, no family member must be in the same room as of candidate. 
  9. Candidates must avoid excessive neck moments while taking the IBSAT 2025 exam. Excessive movement may lead to disqualification of the candidature.
  10. If you think you have not touched any of the topics from IBSAT 2025 syllabus while preparing, avoid preparing for such topics a day before the exam. It will leave you anxious.
  11. As one needs to complete 140 questions in 120 minutes and save at least 15 minutes for revision, avoid wasting time on questions which the candidate is unsure of the answer. They can come back to answer them only when they are through with all that they know.
  12. Do not forget to carry all the documents required.
