IBSAT 2023 exam will be conducted by ICFAI Business School on December 23 and December 24, 2023. Registered candidates will be able to book their exam slots on the official website isindia.org. IBSAT 2023 exam will be home based remote proctored examination, i.e., candidates will not be required to appear at the exam centre. IBSAT admit card is an important document that has to be shown on the day of examination, without which aspirants will not be permitted to appear for the examination. IBSAT 2023 Exam Day Instructions

  • IBSAT exam will be a remote-proctored examination. Candidates will be able to take the examination from their homes. Therefore, test takers must note that the IBSAT admit card is a mandatory document to be shown to the camera. Candidates will not be permitted to appear for the exam without the hall ticket.
  • IBSAT exam can be taken from any device such as tablet/laptop/mobile. However, candidates are advised to avoid the use of mobile and keep the device charged for atleast two hours.
  • Candidates must produce any of the proof of photo identity documents to the camera:
    • Passport
    • Driving License
    • Photo Credit card
    • Photo ID card
  • Candidates must have continuous internet connectivity to avoid any mishap during the examination.
  • For smooth conduct of the exam, candidates are advised to:
    • Sit in a closed roomwith enought light for camera. Avoid sitting against or near the light and window.
    • Position oneself in such a way that camera captures the face properly.
    • make sure there is no noise around, other Artificial Intelligence will detect and warn about the same.
    • sit near the wifi router if using a Wi-fi router for examination.
    • Keep an additional phone to contact the helpline in case required
  • Candidates must login 10 minutes before the exam timing. On the exam page login candidates must enter the unique ID mentioned on the admit card. Candidates will not be able to take the exam without entering the unique ID.
  • Applicants will not be permitted to take the examination if they do not login at the specified time on the admit card. Candidates will not be allowed to login 10 minutes from the commencement of the examination.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to keep any reference material, paper or study materials while taking the exam. If found, applicant will not be allowed to continue the test and the answers will not be scored.
  • Applicants will not be permitted to keep any other personal items other than identification documents. Candidates must not have the following items- cell phones, PDAs, Blackberry devices, analog/digital watches, calculator,s or any other electronic or photographic devices.
  • Candidates will be auto-proctored by Artificial Intelligent enabled Proctors. Any unfair action will be captured and will lead to disqualification.
  • There will be no scheduled or unscheduled breaks. Once logged in, candidates will have to remain seated until the duration is over.
  • The maximum number of allowed logins is five.
  • In the event of a computer connectivity/malfunction issue during the exam, the proctor will guide to resume the exam within half an hour, beyond which exam will be considered as no show/exam expired.
  • IBS will conduct the IBSAT 2023 mock test for the registered candidates.
  • Candidates must appear for the mock test to become familiar with the actual exam day environment.  
  • The final online IBSAT 2023 examination will be in English only. It will be of 120 minutes duration with 140 questions with no negative marking.
  • Candidates must sit for the examination for entire two hours.

How to Take IBSAT 2023 Exam?

  • Username and Password for the mock examination and final examination will be Use name: -Unique ID (Present in IBSAT admit card) & password: -DOB (Date of Birth) As per application form.
    • Once a user logs into the system with Username and Password, it will take you to the page to take a photo with your details. Please allow camera, location access, and audio device access when prompted. If you do not give access to any of these, you will not be able to appear for the examination
    • After giving permissions, click on the Take Self Photo Button Then you will get a success message. Do not use a mask while taking a photo and during examination as this photo will be matched during the online examination.
    • Please make sure only your face is appearing in the camera while taking a photo.
    • After taking the photo, the candidate should show the ID proof to the camera or when prompted by the proctor.
  • Click on Take Examination at the scheduled exam start time
  • Now click on the declaration checkbox and click on the Start Examination Button. Your exam will start and the questions with options will be displayed.
  • When you are writing the examination, please make sure that your photo is always visible in the round bubble and this bubble can be moved to any part of the window to suit your convenience.
  • To Adjust the font-Students use the buttons next to resources on top right corner next to resources
  • Students can select the answer from given options for a question and click on one of the following options:
    • Next
    • Previous
    • Mark for Review
    • To remove the answer, click “Clear”
    • Question Palette will indicate the question status as Student start answering the Questions
      • Green colour indicates answered
      • Red colour indicated not answered
      • Orange colour indicates Marked for Review
      • Blue colour indicates Answered and Marked for Review
      • Grey colour indicates question is not answered and skipped
  • To navigate during the examination, the Student can click on question number in the palette or choose the question number from the dropdown to move to the desired question.
  • Students can view / hide the Question Palette by clicking on the View Palette / Hide Palette button
  • Students will get the Submit & Exit button once he/she is at the last question

IBSAT 2023 Exam Code of Conduct

  • Candidates are not allowed to access books/notes or the internet while giving the examination.
  • System will use AI to detect and record facial emotions, eye movements, and all activities that will be performed by the candidate while giving the test.
  • Taking photos or recording videos and sharing it with others or indulging in suspicious and objectionable activities during the examination will be automatically recorded and will be treated as malpractice.
  • Candidates are advised not to use headphones or any noise cancellation devices, bluetooth devices during the examination.
  • Warning will be issued to the candidates if observed. the number of warning will be duly recorded.

  • Candidates are advised to use latest version of any browser
  • Examination will run only on webcam and microphone enabled Desktop or Laptop or Tablet or Mobile with the above requirement.

Q:   What is the qualifying marks for BBA admission at IBS Hyderabad?

A pass in Class 12 or equivalent examination with at least 50% aggregate and above in English Medium is required to apply for IBS Hyderabad BBA course. IBSAT scores are accepted by nine ICFAI Business Schools (IBS), namely IBS Hyderabad, IBS Mumbai, IBS Bengaluru, IBS Pune, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Kolkata, IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Jaipur, and IBS Dehradun. Q:   Which entrance exam is required for IBS Dehradun?
A: 

IBS Dehradun considers scores in CAT, NMAT, XAT, etc. for admission to MBA/ PGPM programmes. Those who do not have a score in any of the accepted entrance exams can appear for IBSAT conducted by ICFAI Foundation For Higher Education. Besides, the selection for BBA and BCom courses is merit-based. For PhD, aspirants can apply with a valid score in GMAT, CAT, NMAT, XAT or IBSAT.
