This is likely to be the last round of Tripura NEET UG Counselling 2025. The dates for the next rounds will be announced in case there are unoccupied seats. The process had started on July 30, 2025, with Round 1. The overall duration of the state counselling process ranges from three to four months. The round-wise dates were revised multiple times on account of changes in the schedule by the Medical Counselling Committee for the All India Quota counselling, as well as other external factors.

Salient Features of the Tripura NEET Counselling
For the Tripura NEET counselling 2025, four to five rounds are expected to be conducted. The number of rounds is extended based on the remaining seats.
Tripura NEET counselling 2025 is held for admission to MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS and BASLP courses under the 85 per cent State Quota seats. It is conducted online, wherein registration, choice filling and seat allotment result are done online. However, the nomination collection and institute reporting is done in offline mode, by visiting the venue.
To participate in the Tripura NEET counselling, candidates have to register first. The registration form is available on the counselling portal. The registration is considered complete only after the payment of the registration fee. After the successful submission of the Tripura NEET counselling registration form, the conducting body releases the list of the registered candidates whose applications will be accepted. This is also referred to as the merit list.
The eligible candidates have to fill out their choice of colleges, as per their preferential order. Based on this, the seat allotment result is declared. For confirm and accept the seat allotment, they have to collect Nominations from the DME Tripura office, and report to the allotted institute.
After this, the subsequent counselling rounds will take place depending on the cutoff and availability of seats.

Suppose a student has already taken admission to a medical college either through the All India NEET Counselling or through any other state counselling for NEET. In that case, they will not be allowed to participate in the Tripura NEET counselling. In fact, the candidate will not be eligible to participate in the further rounds of that particular state or national level counselling as well. This is done to ensure that a single candidate does not occupy multiple seats and all aspirants get a fair chance of admission.
The Tripura NEET counselling process is hosted by the Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Tripura. A new website or portal, which is trmcc.admissions.nic.in. The official website to refer for the Tripura NEET UG counselling is that of the Tripura Medical Counselling Commutee (TRMCC). Eligible candidates willing to participate in the Tripura NEET UG counselling process will have to fill and lock the choice of seats based on the seat matrix. If a candidate fulfills the cutoff or admission criteria of the institute of their choice, they will be allotted the seats. The application form for the first two rounds of Tripura NEET counselling will be available in online mode only.
