To ensure that all the candidates who appeared for the MAH CET exam for the undergraduate courses are judged fairly, MAH BBA CET normalization process is undertaken. The MAH BBA CET exam 2024 was conducted for the first time in three shifts. It may be possible that one session could have been slightly easier or difficult than the other.

Hence, MAH BBA CET score normalization ensures that no candidate has an advantage or disadvantage over another due to differences in difficulty level of their exam session. So, before the preparation of the MAH CET result and merit list, the Maharashtra State CET Cell normalizes the exam scores. Basically, the marks obtained by every candidate are scaled.

MAH BBA CET exam was conducted for the first time in 2024. The questions in the MAH BBA CET exam are mostly based on the Class 12 syllabus. The English language section can be a bit difficult because of lengthy comprehension passages. The General Knowledge section was the easiest. Rest of the sections are usually of the easy to moderate difficulty level but are easily doable. 

The marking scheme of MAH BBA CET is very simple. The total marks is 100 for 100 questions. Which means, every question carries one mark. There is no negative marking. In case of incorrect attempt, candidates will be marked zero. If they skip a question, even then they will be marked zero. Total marks of a candidate will be calculated out 100 based on their total number of correct attempt.

Section wise the marks allotment is as follows:

• English: 30 marks
• Reasoning: 30 marks
• General Knowledge: 20 marks
• Computer-Basics: 20 marks

The percentile is calculated on the basis of top scoring candidate’s marks against all other candidates.

Even if a candidate who have not studied mathematics in Class 12 can still do well in the MAH BBA CET exam. The exam includes sections such as Logical and Abstract Reasoning, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, and Quantitative Aptitude. The QA section is based on topics such as algebra, geometry, data interpretation, arithmetic, etc. Students do not require advanced knowledge of these topics. To prepare for the QA section students can refer to the NCERT books of Class 9 to Class 12 adn other books such as "Quantitative Aptitude for Competitive Examinations" by R.S. Aggarwal and online tutorials. Regular practice can help the candidates score well in the QA section of MAH BBA CET.

MAH CET score normalization process is undertaken to ensure that all candidates are judged on the same plane. This is done because MAH MBA CET is a multi-session exam and it may be possible that one session can be slighter easier or tougher than another.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra will upload round wise and category wise MAH BBA CET cut offs on its official website during the CAP process for MAH BBA CET. Students can check MAH BBA CET cut off once the cut offs are released on the official website.

The MAH BBA CET selection criteria includes appearing for the MAH BBA CET exam. Candidates who score well and match the cutoff will be eligible to participate in the CAP (Common Admission Process) rounds. Students will be called for a Group Discussion and a Personal Interview for the final selection. 

While preparing MAH BBA CET cutoff list, authorities will look at factors such as previous year cutoffs, number of students who have qualified entrance, number of students who appeared for MAH CET exam, difficulty level of exam, number of seats available, etc.

MAH BBA CET is one of the BBA entrance exams in India which does not have negative marking. For each correct attempt, one mark is awarded to the candidate but no marks are deducted for wrong answers or unattempted questions. The total marks of BBA CET are 100 and candidates need not worry about making incorrect attempt. They must however avoid random selection of options as correct answers. They should take time in understanding the question and then choose the option. It is not mandatory to solve all the questions in MAH BBA BMS CET so candidates can spend some time on the questions and then answers. The exam will be of 1.5 hours.
