MP NEET UG counselling 2026: The Directorate of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh, has revised MP NEET UG counselling date 2026. The authority will release the seat allotment for MP NEET UG Round 1 on August 24. Earlier, it was scheduled on August 20. The authority has closed for MP NEET UG choice filling and locking was August 18, 2026. The last date for reporting at the allotted Medical/Dental college is September 9, 2026.

DME, Madhya Pradesh released the merit list for MP NEET UG on August 14, 2026. The link to check MP NEET UG merit list pdf is updated on the website, dme.mponline.gov.in. MP NEET 2026 Counselling: Eligibility Criteria

Students have to fulfil the following eligibility requirements for MP NEET admission 2026:

  • Domiciles of the states will be given preference
  • Students must be at least 17 years old. There is no upper age limit.
  •  They should have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Biology, Chemistry and English as core subjects.
  • Students must have domicile of state. Those who don't have domicile but have completed formal education from the state can also apply.

The annual tuition fee for MBBS course in a government medical college of Madhya Pradesh is around INR 1,00,000. Fees have to be submited during reporting. No, candidates must have Biology as subject in class 12th to appear for NEET exam. Only those who qualify NEET exam will be eligible for MP NEET counselling. Applicant must be at least 17 years old on the date mentioned by the exam conducting body. There is no upper age limit of the applicants. Another eligibility criteria is candidates should have domiciled in the state or he/she must have completed formal education from any of the state boards.

MP NEET 2026 Counselling Process

The candidates can see the MP NEET Counselling process below:

Profile Creation:

Candidates have to create a profile on the Counselling portal before registration. Candidates will have to provide details such as roll number, secret key, and captcha, contact number and bank details to create a profile. 

Registration:

After the announcement of the NEET result 2026, all those who qualify the NEET exam and wish to participate in the counselling must register on the portal of DME. They must note that it is mandatory to register online to fill the application form for the counselling of MP NEET 2026.

Seat matrix and merit list:

DME releases the seat matrix before the counselling process starts. After the seat matrix, MP NEET state merit list is released. 

Choice Filling and locking:

Candidates who are shortlisted in the merit list can declare choices online. Candidates can declare their choice of college and course in the given deadline. Choices have to be locked as well.

Seat allotment list:

Based on the merit position of the candidate and the choices filled by them, DME will prepare the results for the counselling of MP NEET 2026. The result for MP NEET counselling 2026 is better known as the seat allotment list. DME will release a separate seat allotment list for every round of MP NEET 2026 counselling.

Document verification and confirmation of admission:

Candidates who have been allocated a seat and want to continue with it will be required to report to the respective institute for document verification. They need to carry original certificates, with two attested copies, to the allocated institute for verification. They will also need to deposit the tuition fee for the current year to confirm admission.

The fee structure for medical/dental is revised every year. Annual fees for government medical/dental colleges are highly subsidised and are around five to ten times less than those for private medical colleges. A total of 4 rounds of MP NEET counselling is held including stray vacancy round. All the rounds of counselling is held online for seat allotment. It must be noted only those who qualify with the minimum cut off can participate in online counselling for seat allotment. MP NEET UG 2026 Seat Allotment

The authority will release the MP NEET UG 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result on August 24, 2026. The link to check the seat allotment result will be updated online. Candidates will have to use their login details to check the seat allotment result. Those who accept the offer must report in person to the allotted medical/dental college for document verification and admission. Those who are not satisfied with the offer can choose an upgrade.
