IISER 2025: Documents to be Re-Uploaded
The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) have officially announced an important update for candidates applying for IISER Admissions 2025. Sucessfully registered candidates who need to re-upload specific documents, including caste certificates and Class 12 marksheets, will be given an opportunity to do so starting from June 01, 2025 from 10:00 AM ,until June 16, 2025 till 5:00 PM.
IISER 2025: List of Documents to be Re-Uploaded
During this period, candidates can log into their application portal using the User ID (Registration/Application Number) and Password that were sent to their registered email ID and phone number at the time of registration. This facility is only applicable for the re-uploading of the following documents:

GEN-EWS Certificate (issued on or after April 1, 2025)

OBC-NCL Certificate (issued on or after April 1, 2025)
-
Class XII (or equivalent) Marksheet / Improvement Marksheet
This re-upload opportunity is crucial for candidates whose documents did not meet the required criteria earlier or who missed uploading the latest versions during the initial application process.
IAT 2025 Documents Size Details
During online application, candidates will have to upload digital copies of forms/ certificates. The acceptable file sizes are mentioned below:
- Photo ID 200KB- upto 1 MB
- Caste Certificate 200KB- upto 1 MB
- 10th Marksheet 200KB- upto 1 MB
- 12th Marksheet 200KB- upto 1 MB
- PwD Certificate 200KB- upto 1 MB

IISER 2025: Important Instructions for Candidates
Candidates are strongly advised to carefully verify the accuracy and validity of each document being uploaded. Any discrepancies or missing/inappropriate documents will solely be the responsibility of the candidate. IISER authorities have clearly stated that no individual intimation will be provided in case of errors or omissions in the submitted documents.
Failure to upload the correct documents by the deadline could lead to immediate cancellation of admission or candidature, even at a later stage of the process.
“At any time during or after the admission process, if a candidate is found ineligible as per the prescribed rules, their admission will be cancelled,” the official notice reads.
Moreover, the Joint Admissions Committee will not entertain any request for changes to the uploaded documents after 5:00 PM on June 16, 2025.
Candidates are advised to keep the IISER 2025 admit card after the exam as it may come in handy for future references. The admit card is the proof of their application and their eligibility. Moreover, the IISER 2025 admit card will also be verified during the counselling and admission processes. Hence, it is advised that test-takers preserve the IISER admit card 2025 till their admission process is completed.
