How to resolve tie-break in APEdCET result?
In a scenario of a tie-in marks, a tie-break is done as per the below-mentioned criteria:
- A candidate who has scored more in Part C is ranked higher
- If a tie still persists, then the candidate who has scored more in Part A is ranked higher
If a tie still persists then both the candidates are allotted the same rank, however, at the time of admission age criteria is taken into consideration and the candidate who is older is given preference for admission.
