CSIR NET 2025 Dec Life & Earth Science Anaysis OUT: The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the CSIR UGC NET 2025 exam for the December session on December 18 for subjects Life Science and Earth Science in the first shift. It was started at 9 am and concluded at 12 noon. Candidates can predict, regarding the cutoff, whether it will rise or drop with the help of analysis. The total number of questions asked in the Life Science exam was 145, and candidates need to attempt 75 questions where as in Earth Science, total questions asked were 150 and candidates required to attempt 75 questions. The CSIR NET Exam (Life Science & Earth Science) is divided into three parts, namely Part A, Part B, and Part C. CSIR NET December Life Science Exam Analysis 2025 OUT: Student Reactions & Topics asked (Shift 1, Dec 18)
As per the students' the Life Science exam overall difficulty was Moderate to Difficult. Development Biology and Ecology was easy. Plant Physiology was tough.
- Geological Time Scale: Easy
- Stress Physiology
- Nest Limb Development
- Also, as per some students, section B was easy.
- Majority of the Part C questions were asked from Plant Physiology and Development Biology around 10 to 12 Questions. It is Botany dominant paper.
- Questions were not asked from Cell Signaling and Molecular Biology
- Especially in Part B and C, Techniques and Evolution were present in decent volume
- Part A as per students was easy and questions were predictable in reasoning and quant-based
- Part C was most difficult with conceptual application as per some students.

Yes. Candidates clear the CSIR UGC NET exam in three months. But to pass the exam proper strategy is required. They make study plans, do revisions, solve question papers, practice tests, etc. If a candidate study properly then nothing is impossible to crack.
The CSIR NET exam consists of five subjects some of them are Maths, Physical Science, Chemical Science, etc. Part A in the exam is common for all candidates and Part B and C is subject-specific. Candidates need to select one subject and prepare well to clear the examination.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the CSIR NET Dec Answer Key 2025 one week after the exam was concluded. Candidates will be able to raise objections against the CSIR UGC NET Provisional Answer Key by using their login credentials into the official website for a specific time period. The Answer Key of CSIR NET will be available in the PDF format. After releasing the final answer key, CSIR NET Result & Cut-off will soon be published by NTA.
