CSIR NET 2025 Shift 2 Exam Analysis OUT: The National Testing Agency (NTA) successfully conducted the CSIR NET 2025 December session exam on December 18 in two shifts. The NTA conducted the CSIR NET exam in a single day for all five subjects, including Life Science, Earth Science, Physical Science, Mathematical Science, and Environmental Science. In Shift 2 Mathematical Science, Physical Science and Chemical Science exam was conducted by the NTA in an online mode. In Mathematical Science, 120 MCQs were asked in the exam, and candidates needed to attempt 60 questions. On the other hand, in chemical science, total 120 questions were asked and candidtaes required to attempt 75 questions. Also in Physical Science subject, a total of 75 questions were asked and candidates required to attempts 55 questions.

As per the students feedback, the overall difficulty level of the CSIR NET Maths exam was Moderate to Difficult. Part A was moderate but Part B and C was a bit difficult. The expected good attempts can be 42 to 46.

Yes. Candidates clear the CSIR UGC NET exam in three months. But to pass the exam proper strategy is required. They make study plans, do revisions, solve question papers, practice tests, etc. If a candidate study properly then nothing is impossible to crack.
The CSIR NET exam consists of five subjects some of them are Maths, Physical Science, Chemical Science, etc. Part A in the exam is common for all candidates and Part B and C is subject-specific. Candidates need to select one subject and prepare well to clear the examination.
The June session exam date for the CSIR NET 2026 has not been released yet. It will be conducted in two shifts. The whole exam schedule will be released by the authority. It will be announced at csirnet.nta.nic.in.

CSIR NET 2025 Dec Answer Key
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the CSIR NET Answer Key 2025 one week after the exam was concluded. Candidates will be able to raise objections against the CSIR UGC NET 2025 Dec Provisional Answer Key by logging into the official website for a specific time period. The Answer Key will be available in the PDF format. After releasing the final answer key, CSIR NET Result & Cut-off will soon be published by NTA on the official website.
