The UGC NET 2025 City Intimation Slip for the June 25 exam has been released at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Candidates can now make arrangements for a city venue in advance. The June session exam will be held from June 25 to 29, 2025. The UGC NET 2025 admit card will be released three days prior to the exam date. Scroll down for more detail.

UGC NET 2025 City Slip Out: The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the UGC NET City Intimation Slip 2025 for the June 25, 2025 examination on the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Candidates can download it by visiting the official website or via the direct link provided below. To download the city intimation slip, candidates required their application number and date of birth. The June session Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be conducted over five days from June 25 to 29, 2025, in two shifts, namely 9 am to 12 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm. The UGC NET June 2025 city slips will inform candidates of their exam city, allowing them to plan their travel and accommodation ahead of time. Shift 1 (9 AM to 12 PM)

Education, Public Administration, Indian Knowledge System, Malayalam, Urdu, Labour Welfare/Personnel Management/Industrial relations/Labour and Social Welfare/Human Resource Management, Criminology, Tribal and Regional Language/Literature, Folk Literature, Konkani and Environmental Sciences.

Shift 2 (3 PM to 6 PM)

Electronic Science, Japanese, law, Mass Communication and Journalism, Nepali, Performing Art-Dance/Drama/Theatre, Sanskrit, Women Studies, Library and Information Science and Philosophy

The UGC NET exam for the December session was conducted from December 31, 2025 to January 7, 2026. The dates were released by the NTA at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The admit card was also released at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

The UGC NET June session 2026 exam date has not been announced yet. The exam will be conducted for a total duration of three hours or 180 minutes. The UGC NET exam will be conducted in a single session for both papers without any breaks. It will be conducted online.

Candidates must score good marks for clearing the UGC NET exam. For General Category the minimum qualifying mark is 40% and for reserved category it is 35%. In the June session 2025, the good score in History subject for the unreserved category was 162 for Asst. Professor and 180 for JRF.
