UGC NET Jan 16 Analysis: The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted Shift 1 of the UGC NET Jan 16 Exam at various centres across the country. Shift 2 started at 3 PM. Candidates can check below the student reactions, difficulty level of the exam, memory-based questions and answers, topics asked, good attempts, and more. Analysis plays a major role in the preparation of an examination as it provides the information regarding the difficulty level of an exam, topics asked in the exam, question paper, questions if repeated from the previous year, etc. Candidates can also predict the cutoff, whether it will rise or fall.
The UGC NET 2024 Syllabus consists of two parts: Paper 1 and 2. Paper 1 has 50 multiple-choice questions, and Paper 2 has 100 subject-specific questions. The authority postponed the January 15 exam. Now, it will be conducted on January 21 and 27 in a single shift for both days. The UGC NET 2024 exam for December session started on January 3 and will end on January 27, 2025. Paper 1 was Moderate. Some of the students felt easy to moderate. Previous Year Questions asked.
Paper 2 (Sociology): Overall difficulty level was Moderate. Research asked more in Sociology. As per students, practicing previous years questions helped them; topics like social change and globalisation had predictable questions, questions based on sociological thinkers were slightly tricky, and questions were also from contemporary issues and focused on theoretical aspects. Maximum weightage topics are: Communalism, Social Movements of India, State Politics and Development, Urbanism & Political Processes in India.
