SBI PO exam is conducted for recruitment to the post of Probationary Officer in the various branches of the State Bank of India. The Quantitative Aptitude section of prelims exam comprises 35 questions. Questions are basically asked from Simplification, Profit & Loss, Simple Interest & Compound Interest & Surds & Indices, Time & Distance, Number Systems, Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Data Interpretation, etc. In SBI PO mains exam, candidates will get 35 questions on Data Analysis and Interpretation. Total marks allotted to this section in mains exam are 60.

Yes. There is negative marking in the SBI PO exam in both Prelims and Mains for the objective-type questions. For every wrong answer 0.25 marks or 1/4th marks are deducted but for un attempted or skipped questions none of the marks are deducted.

The application fee for the SBI PO exam varies or differs as per the categories. For General and OBC category it is INR 750 and for SC/ST/PwBD there is no fee it is exempted.

The selection process of SBI PO exam consists of three rounds. The selection process is" Prelims, Mains and Interview. Several changes were also done in the exam pattern for the SBI PO exam.
