IBPS Clerk mains pattern comprises four sections: General/ Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, and Quantitative Aptitude. Adarsh said, “In GA, maximum questions were asked from the events that took place in August. There were questions based on new Income Tax regime. In English, questions were asked from RC, Spotting error, etc. The level of the paper was same as last year.”
Vijay said, “Mostly questions in the GA were asked from the events that took place in the month of August. Questions were asked from RBI policies and the overall difficulty level of the paper was moderate. There were two passages in English. There were no questions from Vocab. In Maths, there were 6 simplification questions, number system, DI, etc. In Reasoning, questions were asked from puzzles, seating arrangement, etc.
The Mains exam of is divided into four sections. The total marks allotted to the exam are 200. The marks obtained at stage is considered for final selection.
There are negative marking in IBPS Clerk exam. 0.25 marks are deducted as penalty for wrong answers. For correct answers, candidates score one mark. Candidates are advised to mark their answers carefully as there are negative markings. For wrong answers marked in the exam, the marks of candidates will be deducted. Candidates are required to secure both overall and sectional cut off marks.
The English Language section of IBPS Clerk carries questions of high school. Candidates should read newspapers and books. Candidates should read the editorial section of the newspapers to improve their vocabulary.
