The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is conducting the IBPS PO 2021 prelims exam to fill up a total of 4135 vacancies. According to the students, the overall paper was moderate. The Quantitative Aptitude section was moderate and had few tricky questions. The English section was easy to moderate. The English section was easy. An attempt of 65-71 questions is what considered as good.
According to the IBPS PO exam pattern, the prelims exam comprised three sections-Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and English. The test carried a total of 100 questions and 100 marks. The duration of the IBPS PO exam was one hour with sectional timings. Candidates qualifying the prelims exam will be called for the mains exam.

IBPS PO Prelims Exam Analysis 2021 & Student Reaction
Shiksha visited one of the IBPS PO exam centres in Noida to gather the feedback of candidates regarding the overall difficulty level of the paper. Check below the feedback shared by the students.
Harshit said, “The overall difficulty level of the paper was easy to moderate. The Quantitative Aptitude paper was calculative. In Reasoning, questions were asked from Puzzles, Syllogism, etc. In Maths, questions were asked from Data Interpretation, Number Series, etc.”
Gagan Kumar said, “The overall paper was moderate. English was easy, Quant was moderate, Reasoning was easy to moderate.”
Vaishali said, “The overall paper was good. There were maximum questions on puzzles in Reasoning section. In English, I have attempted 27 questions. The Maths paper was a bit lengthy.”
Gaurav Singh said, “The Reasoning section was tough, Quant was moderate and English was easy. As compared to last year, Reasoning was tough and Maths was easy. In Quant, there were questions from Data Interpretation, Caselet, Arithmetic, Number Series, etc. In English, Para Jumbles, Passages, Error Detection, etc.
Prince Kumar said, “The paper was tricky. The Maths was calculative. In Reasoning, the puzzles were moderate in terms of difficulty level. The English section was easy to moderate. Both Quant and Reasoning sections were moderate.”
