IBPS PO Prelims Exam Pattern
According to the IBPS PO exam pattern, the prelims exam comprises three sections-Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and English. The test carries a total of 100 questions and 100 marks. The duration of the IBPS PO exam is one hour with sectional timings. Candidates qualifying the prelims exam will be called for the mains exam. The structure of the prelims exam is given below.

IBPS PO syllabus comprises the topics of graduation level. IBPS PO syllabus is given below:
Reasoning: Logical Reasoning, Alphanumeric Series, Ranking/Direction/Alphabet Test, Data Sufficiency, Coded Inequalities, Seating Arrangement, Puzzle, Syllogism, Input-Output, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relation.
Quantitative Aptitude: Simplification, Profit & Loss, Mixtures & Alligations, Simple Interest & Compound Interest & Surds & Indices, Work & Time, Time & Distance, Mensuration-Cylinder, Cone, Sphere, Data Interpretation, Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Number Systems, Sequence & Series and Permutation, Combination & Probability.
English Language: Reading Comprehension, Cloze Test, Para jumbles, Spotting Error, Fill in the blanks, etc.

Shiksha reported live from one of the IBPS PO prelims exam centre in Noida. Check below the feedback shared by the students regarding the overall difficulty level of the exam.
Rahul said, “The overall difficulty level of the paper was easy. In English, there were fewer questions from the vocabulary. IBPS PO cut off is expected to go high since the paper was easy.”
Gopal said, "The paper was moderate. I attempted around 58 questions. One needs to practice a lot of mocks to crack the exam. All the topics given in the IBPS PO syllabus were covered in the exam."
Ranvijay said, "The paper was moderate. In Quant, questions were asked from DI. In Reasoning, questions were asked from Puzzles and Syllogism. There was no change in the exam pattern."
Deep said, "The paper was moderate. In Reasoning, questions were asked from Puzzles, In Quant, questions were asked from DI, Quadratic Equation, Simplification, etc. In English, questions were asked from RC, Synonyms & Antonyms, etc."
