SBI Clerk final result 2025 will be released anytime soon. The result will be made available on the official website-sbi,co.in. SBI Clerk result PDF will display the roll numbers of qualified candidates. Based on the result, candidates are selected for the SBI Clerk Language Proficiency Test. This test assess the candidate’s ability to read, write and speak the opted local language of the state. Final appointment is subject to the candidate’s qualifying the opted local language test. The marks obtained in the mains exam are counted for the final merit list.

The merit list is drawn state-wise and category-wise. Candidates qualified in the mains exam are placed according to their aggregate marks in descending order in respective states and categories. Trained apprentices of SBI are given weightage in the main examination. SBI Clerk 2025 Mains Exam was conducted on April 10 and 12, 2025.

SBI Clerk normalisation is done since there is some variation in the level of difficulty in all shifts. The normalisation helps in adjusting the scores of all candidates. SBI Clerk normalisation is using the equi-percentile method.

SBI Clerk selection process comprises prelims exam and Mains exam. marks obtained in the prelims exam are not counted for the final merit list. Total marks allotted to prelims are 100. Total marks allotted to the Mains exam are 200.

Q:   When SBI Clerk scorecard is released?
A: 

The scorecard for SBI Clerk exam is released along with the result. To download the scorecard, candidates need to enter the required credentials. The hard copy of the scorecard is not sent to candidates by post. The scorecard comprises the section-wise marks, overall marks, cut off marks, etc. The scores of candidates are calculated after applying penalty for wrong answers. 1/4th of the mark assigned to a particular question is deducted for wrong answers. For correct answers, candidates score one mark. The total marks allotted to the prelims exam are 100. The mains exam carries a total of 200 marks. The marks obtained in the mains exam are considered for the final selection of candidates. Candidates qualifying the mains exam are called for the language proficiency test.

There is no facility to recheck SBI Clerk result. The result announced by the examination authority is considered as final. Candidates can download their results by logging with the required credentials. The hard copy of the result is not sent to candidates by post.

What is SBI Clerk Tie-Breaking Policy?

The tie-breaking policy of SBI Clerk is given below:

  • Candidates who belong to the reserved category such as SC/ST/OBC/PH are considered
  • If the tie persists, candidates who have fewer incorrect answers in all the subjects are considered
  • If the tie continues, candidates older in age are considered
