Staff Selection Commission conducts SSC GD exam to recruit Constables (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). SSC GD Constable Exam Pattern 2026

SSC GD Constable exam pattern for CBT is framed by the examination authority. The subjects are General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Maths, English Language. The test carries 80 questions. The marks allotted to each question are two. 0.25 marks are deducted for wrong answers. The test carries 160 marks. The structure of SSC GD exam pattern is given below.

The SSC GD exam 2026 was postponed. The Staff Selection Commission released a public notice at ssc.gov.in regarding this. Now, the Commission released the new SSC GD 2026 exam dates. It will start from April 27 and will end on May 30.
