SSC GD Exam New Dates Soon: The Staff Selection Commission will soon release the SSC Constable (General Duty) new exam dates on its official website - ssc.gov.in. Earlier the exam was slated to start on February 23. The exam was postponed because the SSC MTS exam will be conducted till March 2, 2026 and the Commission did not conduct two exams simultaneously. The Commission will conduct the SSC GD 2026 online as a Computer-Based Exam(CBE). The candidates should note that the Commission will release the SSC GD City Intimation Slip, one week before the exam commencement date.

The Commission will inform the candidates about their exam date and city through city intimation. The SSC GD admit card will be released online only three days before the exam date of the candidates. The Commission will conduct the exam in March. The application form for SSC GD 2026 closed on December 3, 2025. SSC GD notification PDF was released on December 1 to fill total 25487 vacancies.
