SSC GD 2021 applications were started on July 17 along with the release of official notification. Staff Selection Commission released the Constable (General Duty) 2021 notification on July 17. The candidates need to register themselves and apply online for the SSC GD 2021 exam. The candidates can also apply for the SSC GD 2021 exam at the UMANG platform.

How to register and apply online for SSC GD 2021?
The candidates are finding it difficult to register and apply for the SSC Constable Exam 2021. The candidates can see the steps to register and apply online for the SSC GD 2021 exam in the video.
For better understanding, we are explaining here the detailed steps to fill the SSC Constable (GD) 2021 application.
Documents Required for SSC GD 2021 Exam Application
Before filling up the application, form the candidates should arrange the following
- Adhaar card or
- PAN Card or
- Driving licence or
- Any Identity Card issued by a government authority or
- School Identity proof
- Class 10th Certificate
Along with these, Scanned images of photographs and signatures will also be required.
One important point is that the date of the photograph should be printed on the photograph or else the SSC will reject the form. The scanned image of the photo should be 20kb to 50kb in size, and the scanned image of the signature must be 10 kb to 20 kb in size.

How to Register for the SSC GD 2021 exam?
SSC GD application can be filled only after the registration process. Registration Number is required to log in and only after login, the SSC GD 2021 application can be filled online.
To register on the SSC website, click on the new user button. On clicking, the SSC registration window will open. Candidates can register either with their adhaar card or any government ID proof mentioned beforehand. After entering their id proof, the candidate needs to fill
- Name
- Change of name status,
- Father’s name,
- Mother’s name,
- Date of birth,
- Education board name,
- Roll number mentioned on their class 10th certificate,
- Year of passing the exam,
- Gender,
- Highest education level achieved,
- Mobile number,
- email_id, and
- State or UT of residence.
After filling in the details, click on the Save button. An OTP will be sent on the mobile number and email id. This OTP will be required for saving the details. At this stage the registration is partial and the candidates need to complete the registration in 14 days, in the absence of which, it will be automatically deleted.

After registration, the registration number will be generated and the password will be sent to the registered mobile number. The candidates need to log in with the registration no. and password, after the first time login, the candidates will be asked to change their password. After changing the password, the candidates will be required to log in again with the new credentials. After login, the candidate needs to click on the Next button given at the bottom of the registration page.
Here, the candidates need to fill in their
- Category,
- Nationality,
- Identification marks,
- Disability status,
- Permanent address and
- Present address
And click on the Save button. It will take some time to save the details.
After saving the registration details, the candidates need to click on the agree button and submit the registration.
For final submitting the registration details, the OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number and email id. The SSC registration is completed here.
Steps to apply online for SSC GD 2021 Application
Now go to the dashboard and a new screen will appear. The SSC GD 2021 notification and application will appear on this screen, click on the apply button. The SSC GD 2021 Application form will appear on the screen where most of the details are already filled.
Here the candidates need to fill their
- Ex-serviceman status
- NCC candidature Status
- Age relaxation claim,
- 3 examination centre preference
- Domicile status
- SSC GD Force preference
- Details about educational qualification

The candidates need to agree to the declaration given in the form and submit the form. The candidates can submit the application fee online or offline mode after filling in the SSC GD application form. They can also take the printout of the application form. The SSC GD 2021 exam dates were not released with the official notification. The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC Constable (GD) exam dates later. It is expected that the SSC GD 2021 exam will be conducted in November 2021 tentatively.
